Theres a new weather editor for F4:AF and with their permission we also have it available for download.It is a beta but works great.

This has some really good features and htis is from Tom the developer The "radar image" on the left shows the current weather. Black is the background, white are cumulus clouds (the new puffy clouds in F4AF), from grey to purple are increasingly thick stratus clouds (the ugly old F4 weather), precipitation starts with blue and increases; thickest clouds bring thunder and flash. The right image contains some information about the cloud base altitude. Unfortunately, this isn't too useful right now. To get snow, reduce the temperature to below ~5° C. Known issues: * Application doesn't open maximized - maximize manually to see the [Apply] button on small lscreens * The old stratus clouds are ugly polygon mountains... * Not yet submitted to LP for official approval * Ugly crash when no F4 installed Glad for any feedback. -
So far it hasn't...I am lucky in that I can go to different political boards and post my real thoughts in public.If you feel you must do that,please find one of those boards and get it off your chest there,and not here.I would have been banned for what I had to say..if that tells you anything.

was on the other night..I was thinking that if someone modelled a flight sim that was real how EVERYONE would be screaming how it was almost impossible to hit something and they needed to mod it to make it easier.

Has anybody seen this before?I never thought about it but when you put your guns on the cowl it vibrates so badly that the aim point jumps as much as a foot and add to that the torque effect the fact that the pilots were ever able to hit anything is amazing.The planes were flying around 100mph is what they were saying is average speed. Oh yeah..now they are saying that Brown didn't shoot him down but that he was killed by ground fire. If you modelled the real effects of the gun fire everyone would scream how it's almost impossible to hit anything.It seems only about 1 in 10 shots over 150 yards hit,and they tried to get as close as 30 feet before they fired.

This site is open to anybody to post their work,always has been ,always will be(so long as it's their work).I know some people have issues with some of the modders,BUT they are welcome to post their work.We don't care if it's the A-team,Bortdafarm,or john Q public builder.Everyone knows this.So with this in mind please everyone calm down...now.

if you have WoV then try Wings over Europe,when you install it you have the option of a merged install.You can have the best of both worlds.what it does is basically give you ALL the aircraft and campains,and terrains in one install. and welcome to CA I hope these answers helped you.if not let us know as theres some VERY good folks here that are always willing to help.

My brother in law was in a panic..his son is serving on the Florida and she's out for sea trials after some major re-fitting.he calmed down after he found out the Florida was ok. -
You're going to be light on the video card I'm afraid.Can you upgrade to one with 128 megs of video ram?(atleast that much.)

We fly using Hamachi...easy and rock solid.Other than hyperlobby these really is no place else to go.I'm afraid the days of Jane's,and Novalogic,even Red Baron played on WON ,are gone.Even M$ dropped the Zone.I remember playing on heat,Mplayer,and Kali but other than Kali these are gone.and Kali has a one time fee for it.

This one is actually well thought out and other than it being basically Strike Fighters in Space..so the controls are simple and easy to learn and use.

Space"sims"are few and far between,this one is actually addictive.If Thirdwire was to make a Space"sim"based on his Lite sim concept,just jump in and fly,this would be it.And be sure to watch the video of the actually game play,the graphics will blow you away! Which sim is best for direct TCP/IP internet play?

Hamachi is a network emulator.You and your friends hook up and one starts a game,then the others join via it.We use it for most every game we play in S2 division of TAW..ALL the Thirdwire sims,IL-2,SH3,and hopefully SH4,and Falcon 4:AF and also Nascar 2003. -

how much ram and which video card do you have?if not sure go to my computer->right click and open->hardware manager and then video.It'll tell you what card you have.and ram will show up when you open the screen after you right click it.

in the last one the terrain almost looks like EAW,the others I've never seen that one,must be on line play though,judging from the chat.
