another couple of simple sims would be MS combat flight sim 2 and EAW.Both are close to the Thirdwire series..only problem with MS sims if you play on-line they are really easy to cheat with(and I'm afraid most people do)..and EAW is an older sim.if you're looking for single player only find B-17II The mighty Eighth a super bomber sim,can be as simple or as complex as you want.

after all the problems with 2.7 2.8 fixes alot of them.you can patch up from the older version or get the entire new game at your favorite spot.

in the options menu you can assign views to the hat,and as for planes alot are being worked on to fix them with the patch.

I had been trying to sort out the difference between the Premier league, Champions Legue, Carling Cup, FA Cup, etc. I wasn't sure how each was connected to the other (if at all) The easy way to think of it is the Premier league is the varsity of English Football,the CL,Carling Cup and FA cup are the tourneys that everyone wants to go to.The Cups are kind of tied in.The FA Cup is the one everyone wants..last year West Ham and Liver pool played one of the greatest finals ever.The Champions league is based on the best clubs from several different leagues playing in a very lively tourney,The Carling Cup is like the FA Cup lite. As far as the MLS I'm a DC United fan..and am thrilled to see Beckham come to LA to play,it should bring alot of new fans to the game. If you can get Fox Soccer Channel on cable or dish and to hear the games Sirius has good coverage of matches and lots of talk shows.

I'd love to have a sim with those graphics.

xfire is nice but the guys from my squad all use hamachi...the only thing is it's like a lan,so you need to have freinds before hand.Hyperlobby is a great place to meet and get in a game.

in your options menu in game select the one that sets bot engines and then assign to throttle.

I've not found a way to do this,I keep my main weapon.But not when you have 2 weapons.If you have a BAR then thats what you'll start with,if you have a Thompson then thats what you'll start with.

oh sorry thought meant the patch...the game is still around and it's cheap.As far as bomber sims goes it's still one of the best ever.

why is everyone so upset over 5 posts..I can make 5 posts,and NOT spam posts in a day.Why not help those who ask questions or maybe ask a few yourself to enhance your flight simming?It's not a hard thing to do.lets see the excuses so far are..gee I don't have time..if we end up slowing downloads then you'll spend more time getting your downloads anyways,I don't think it's fair..ok so just saying Thank you to a modder or answering a question is to much to ask,oh and lets not forget I don't like it..you like getting the mods,why not become part of the community? % posts for free downloads isn't bad,theres sites where you have to pay to be able to download,and then you'll be spending alot of time going from site to site finding the mods. and add-ons. in the options menu the thing I had to do was to tweak both the sensitivity and the dead zone.
