in case you're wondering exactly whats different well I posted this at simhq and thought I'd bring it here.. "mostly the rain is a slightly different color..the winds are changed,and the sky colors are different..as is the blending where the upper sky and horizon meet(gotta thank Dueces and TK for alot of help).I changed the night sky and changed the stars brightness.some were in teh weather ini file and others in the partical ini.thats why the new upgrade isn't anything but 2 ini files. The clouds are the V2 atmosphere clouds,I'm working on more but they aren't ready yet.I'm working hard ot make the sky as real as possible..and I have to say the community has some very good people that have helped me a lot and TK has been great on answering all my questions. "

Ok so heres the new files I've been working on.just unzip to a easy to remember place,then place the 2 files in your flight folder...as always remember to back up your origonal files. and please tell what you think...most changes were made to the storms but some to sky and horizon colors,and the way they blend.

Chief I feel your pain Bro. The patch is still in beta testing and TK says that its coming along.I talked to some of the people involved and all I can say is they told me it would be worth the wait,sorry i can't find out any more than that.I talk to TK weekly about some of the things I'm doing so I ask alot of questions.

you have the SP1 for XP installed i'm sure..so what i meant was disable your video card and then try it using the on-board video.and make sure you have the latest drivers for sound card..I run a SB audigy x-gamer and had all kinda trouble with old drivers,not in SF as i already had them installed when SF came out.

Fates check your private messages..then let me know how it goes and what you think of the changes.also look at the sky colors and horizon colors,also look at the rain,and watch the clouds during the storm.

Ok heres the new storm clouds and i have changed the weather ini and the partical ini files..the rain shows up better now(ok so i didn't get any in the screen shots,sorry)and the light source behind the clouds is much better now.I'm still working on them and hope to get them a fudge better soon.

theres issues with the ATI cards...for some reason.try it using software video settings.

Ok so heres the deal..I had it installed and then to make room for another sim i uninstalled it.well now i want to reinstall it and when i try it says it's uninstalling it and it shows up in the add/remove in the control panel,and in the system reg.I try to delete in the add/remove and it keeps showing up..I try to delete in it in the regedit and it keeps showing up so I can't reinstall it.Please help me.Thanks.

Look at SDOE they have an on-line standard for WW2 and for WW1 the aircraft that are needed and all the terrain and add-ons are in downloads. Might concider that for this sim.

also alot of the modders are waiting for the second patch as theres some changes and they want to take advantage of the changes...patience as they will be worth the wait.
