  1. Thanks. As you can see there was at least 3 type of underbelly launchers in use. NATO catamaran - Denmark, Norway, Germany... double Aero-3B used by Japan/USAF. and Italian/Turkish fixed pylons with BRU and attached Aero launcher.
  2. Since we are here if someone has good photos of catamaran launchers I would really appreciate it. All types
  3. Still a long way till April 1.
  4. In your gimp template create new layer...rivets layer..and do your rivets. For future projects. Then turn off all layers except those rivets..and export as tga. Open one of your finished jpgs skins and copy paste that tga. Or simply copy just rivets layer over existing jpg skin...make sure that rivets layer has same size as jpg skin to align corectly. play with transparency
  5. Perhaps you are missing sound files? try this.. missingSounds.rar
  6. F-16A Blk 10

    Very nice. Thank you.
  7. you want that antenna to nod up and down continuously, or just pitch up / down during tracking. The latter is possible by ini and pivot point alignment. The former I wanted to achieve on PRVs but with no success. Will try Crusader method.
  8. why? most folks have working SF2 on W10....dig into video drivers. Perhaps never...or not soon ..not soon - possibly never.
  9. I usually do bump maps based on white background (255,255,255) white black panel lines, rivets etc. Then export as *.bmp. After that, I open a file in Shader Map3 - which makes nice bump maps where you can adjust the intensity, sharpness, etc...Then SM3 exports by default as high-quality *.TGA...after that converting to also good quality jpg or bmp is just a piece of the pie. If need lines depressed and rivets bulged I am making two separate bump maps and then merging together.
  10. yes, dds can do crap with nice skin, Generally, i do not recommend dds. as specular and bumps. Did you try different compression? BC2/DXT3 or BC3/DXT5 and generate MIP maps . Did you try bump as a high-quality jpg? We have the end of 2020...and we have tons of aircraft to download, but we need more high-quality mods. End-user can always resize skins to the desired format.
  11. So focused on one, that I did not notice the obvious. Thanks. Correct your fake pilot folder and all will be ok, return to original data.ini.
  12. @russouk2004 any desires for radar versions for Bf110 ...and perhaps 109 G-12 trainees?
  13. this is not a pilot this is an animation of the pilot head. As the pilot is part of the 3d model - that allows you to make custom pilot skin for different squadrons even custom faces and helmets for particular aircraft. And those lines must stay in data.ini - or you will not have head movements in the external model. as those lines use prefix '/' - those lines are out of ini business - not working. These are the only lines that refer to fake pilot mod. It is used to have custom animation when aircraft are parked on the flight line. And if you do not have a fake pilot installed correctly in your pilot folder You will have another 'default' pilot somewhere in 3d model. And this is a similar issue. Indicating that your fake pilot mod is not installed correctly. The fake pilot mod is used to attach 3d parts to the existing 3d model. So if you remove ini lines you are disabling mod from working.
  14. do not know what it is... So which pilot is now in the cockpit? There is only one pilot set in data ini. I have spent countless hours in Harriers from day one...and never had any pilot issue. edit: My guess is your fake pilot mod folder is not correctly installed or something is missing related to fake pilot mod.
  15. do you have Pilot_USMC in your 'Pilots' folder?
