  1. Anther note about prop planes: I made clean, patched install for Spanish Civil War by A-Team. No problems so far, interesting feature is that heavily damaged planes try to flee away, gliding. Now less chance of enemy pilot bailing out after inflicting damage. Now a possible big feature -anyone noticed that apart from "aircraftfireeffect", "aircraftenginefireeffect" now works, or is it just me? I hit enemy, he started burning with some "default" effect, after few seconds my aircraftfireeffect started. So I guess the first one was "aircraftenginefireeffect". I must verify that, but this would be HUGE improvement for multi-engined bombers. Also will check if the "FuelLeakEmitter" now works. Many, many little things to discover.
  2. Anyone noticed or is it just me, that now detached aircraft's parts behave slightly better flying in air: better physics?

  4. Just delete the lines: ShadowLOD= ShadowType= so it looks like: [shadow] CastShadow=TRUE ShadowCastDist=10000 MaxVisibleDistance=800 worked ok in April patch, recommended for Ouragans too (have messed up wings shadows in their SHD file)
  5. Hard to say. I took Spit1A for a ride, ended in a flat spin. Engine toggle works for props too. But I need to do a clean WW2 install to see how everythink works relating to how AI planes and so on... Regarding fps on Unlimited settings slight increase from around 16-18 to 20-25 over big airbases with lots of objects in view.

  7. When I figure out problems with collisionboxes. Right now taxing even at 5 mph speed into opened hangars results in big BOOM.

    Daawno temu ktoś wypuścił kilka screenów zasobników we wczesnej fazie modelowania (bez tekstur) ale nie jestem pewien jak to się skończyło. Może A-Team na Skunkworks mają coś? Można też wziąść jakiś model FT z weaponspack-ów i "przerobić" na zasobnik, chociaż to rozwiązanie nie w 100% dokładne.

  15. Wrench, I've started trees for Solomons several weeks ago, but as I'm busy with other mods, so progress currently equals zero. Of course one can take tods from Green Hell 2 and try renaming them to texturelis format used by Solomons (plus rewrite solomons_data.ini texture references), but placement won't be 100% accurate, and not so convincing. Especially on coastial tiles. Better is to make such mod from scrath, every treemod requires other foliage graphics for better blending with terrain, or wait until I do mine. But it would take more than two weeks I'm affraid

  17. Good news StarBucker Try the Low Detail version, also check the Knowledge Base for tips fow to increase performace, there should be some. Highest impact on framerate have mirrors and shadows, turn them off, also try setting your horizont distance to medium.

  20. Something's wrong... Very wrong. You did read the readme? You shoud extract the contents of the archive to a place of your choice. You'll create folder Green Hell 2 and GH2 readme.txt . Inside of Green Hell 2 you'll find several files and three folders: High detail, Normal detail and Low detail. Copy or move ALL files found inside Green Hell 2 folder to your terrain/vietnamsea, overwrite. Then decide which level of detail do you want to try, and copy or move all files found inside of the corresponding folder into VietnamSEA directory, again let overwrite existing files. That should do it. EDIT: Remember to install Brain32's Vietnam repaint BEFORE installing GH2
  21. Basically, yes. I use this to have full tod displayed, as i wrote in readme, some tiles have 750+ "tree clusters", with increased visibility some won't display. I experienced with as much as around 1200+ trees, but the overall hard coded limit I think is 999 (tod file ini format)
  22. Thanks Wrench! It works, my Val had attachment type set to Japanese Empire, and slightly different loadout, now everything's ok. Perhaps outdated package. btw, got my PM?
