  3. As for YAP compatibility -try contacting Wilco -he made data.ini usable for YAP install himself, he cannot post it as it's not allowed by YAP team, but I think he could show you how-to via PM.

  5. Brain, as for texure switching -check your data.ini step-by-step, the Terrain Editor tends to give errors in output data (probably -old texturelist.ini provided by TW). Look for missing tga files or bmp files listed instead of tga ones. Had the same problem creating my mod.

Squid, you can try to change in germanyce_data.ini, under [AlphaObjectTextureMaterial] : DepthBufferWrite=FALSE You'll eliminate those annoying trees rendering through canopyglass, but the downside is that you'll get a lot of tree rendering anomalies :-( check it yourself which option is better

  9. Confirmed. IDF variants, Kurnass gives CTD on my install. I stalled horizontally two times -seems like WoI flightmodel enhancements works in WoE also? Very, very nice!

  14. Sokol, Use "Save texture list" in Texture List pull-down menu! before saving map -this should create .ini files matching names of terrain textures -this is the precious data that holds the solid and alpha objects coordinates for TerrainEditor to read from next time :yes:
  15. Looks good! I guess no impact on framerates? It's interesting idea -getting rid of runway lods -It forces you to perform near stall landings, cause planes bumps on the pure ground..? And much easier to turn and burn on hard landing, right?

  21. that's very, very interesting find ! I was using downloadable texturelist provided by Thirdwire to create the _data file in Terrain Editor. It's buggy so maybe it's also the fault (pre-SP4 level settings?) Strange as most users have no problems with the settings I included Must investigate this
  22. Shot two F-84 with UB rockets pods today on CAS... flying on hard settings. Love this pit! Where else could we put it in?
