Mirage F1AZ Export This mod is dedicated to BPAO, nothing would have been possible without him. Single-seat strike and multi-role fighter. It is a simplified attack version with extra fuel in place of radar and some other all-weather avionics. The South African Air Force recognized the advantages of a simplified version of the Mirage F1CZ for day visual attack missions. The resulting Dassault-Breguet Mirage F1AZ is visually distinguished by having a slender conical nose, resulting from removal of the large Cyrano IVM radar. In its place is the ESD Aïda II ranging radar and a laser-ranger, with a large instrument boom housing the pitot/static heads attached on the underside of the nose. The main avionics racking is moved from behind the cockpit to the nose, making room for an extra fuselage tank. Other additions are a Doppler radar and a retractable refueling probe. South Africa received 32 aircraft for service with No. 1 Sqn. The SAAF aircrafts were withdrawn from service in 1997. In 2006, Gabon received 6 former SAAF Mirage F1AZ and in 2010 Congo-Brazzaville received 4 others. This addon is and will in all cases remain freeware. Released under CombatAce Fair-Use terms. F1CG was first ordered in 1974 and entered service with the Hellenic Air Force in 1975. The aircraft were used by 334 Squadron and 342 Squadron. Mirage F1CG was armed with the Sidewinder AIM-9P missile, rather than the most commonly used Matra Magic II, and it could carry four AIM-9Ps, rather than just two. Upgraded version from 1984 with MK6 ejection seat, RWR and additional wings missile pylons. Mirage F-1CG Late. This mod is dedicated to BPAO, nothing would have been possible without him. Greece operated 40 Dassault Mirage F1CG single seat aircraft. View File Mirage III & Nesher Gun Sight Fix. Mirage III and Nesher Gun Sight Fix. This mod corrects the Stock Third Wire Gun Sights for the Mirage IIICJ Shahak, Mirage IIICJ Shahak (71), Nesher and as a bonus the DLC 17 RAAF Mirage fighters. I recently read the Osprey book Israeli 'Mirage and Nesher Aces' and 'Mirage III vs Mig-21 Six Day War 1967.' Both books are full of gun camera images of Israeli Mirage IIICJ and Nesher fighters killing MIGs. From these I realised Third Wire has made an error on all the Mirage gun sights by aligning the (horizontally elongated) aircraft reference cross with the gun bore-sight and thus the gun piper. In the Nesher and Mirage IIIO that leaves the actual gun bore-sight cross sitting above the gun piper doing nothing. This mod corrects the position and alignment of the aircraft reference cross, gun piper and gun bore-sight cross (Nesher and Mirage IIIO). This correction should be applied to any other version of Mirage III, Mirage 5, Nesher or Dagger you have that uses a Third Wire Mirage cockpit and/ or Mirage gun sight.
