View File IL-28 - H-5 COLLECTION THE BEAGLE KENNEL A FULL COLLECTION OF ILYUSHIN IL-28 & HARBIN H-5 "BEAGLES". A "one stop shop" for the IL-28/IL-28R/H-5 with all the colour schemes for all the nations using the type. Of course some of the schemes are somewhat speculative, but, I think they are definitely useable and valid, the Pakistani beagles for example, were not in service for very long, as the aircraft were not popular in Pakistani service, also the Finnish ones, Finland only had about 3 or 4 actual airframes, and were mainly used for target towing. However, I think we can all apply a little artistic licence and imagination here. I have adjusted the aircraft a bit, ie I have added Geezers excellent RAF pilots to the crew positions, as Beagles tended to be flown in leather flying helmets rather than bone domes, I have also swapped the rear guns on the H-5's to reflect the changes done by the Chinese. Also I have upgraded the cockpits to utilise STARY's pit for the type, and enabled the RWR as well. This enables a viable bombing position and is a really nice upgrade to the aircraft. I have made the weapons for the Harbin H-5 Chinese, and included the weapons in this upload. This is an all inclusive upload, so you will need all 4 files to get the full experience !!! The first 3 files are the actual aircraft, and the "ADDONS" file contains all the sounds, pilots, weapons, guns, decals So please make sure you do use that file as well !!! Just a small beginner questions, is there is a good il 28 mod or pack? I know I can make it playable, but mods usually puts new skins and so on.

For your Cold War games I have remade (original was for SF1) two skins representing 9aircraft of the Luftstreitkräfte (of the DDR); a silver one (standard) and a camouflaged one. The serials are the correct ones for the normal bomber version. Note! The included camouflage skin was only applied on ONE LSK Il-28, being number 208. View File Harbin H-5 (Chinese Il-28 Beagle) Harbin H-5 for STRIKE FIGHTERS 2 This is a very simple mod of the stock Third Wire Il-28 'Beagle' to create the reverse engineered Harbin H-5 copy. As the PLAAF also operated the Il-28 I've set the service dates to match those given for the stock Third Wire Il-28 (for China) but the Chinese H-5 programme was a slow starter and it didn't enter service until 1967. Generic markings with new serial numbers based on the photo of '83002' with a painted radome are included and please note that this mod uses Wrench's F-4B pit for pasko's Yak-25B 'Brewer' so it should work with any version of SF2 that has medium length runways. INSTRUCTIONS 1. From the AIRCRAFT folder drag and drop the H-5 folder into your Aircraft folder. 2. From the DECALS folder drag and drop the H-5 folder into your main Decals folder. 3. View File [Fictional] Ilyushin IL-28 'Beagle' Fuerza Aérea Argentina Ilyushin IL-28 'Beagle' for STRIKE FIGHTERS 2 This is a very simple mod of the stock Third Wire IL-28 to give a flyable (and fictional) IL-28 in service with the Fuerza Aérea Argentina with markings for; Grupo 1 de Bombardeo in the silver scheme as delivered. Grupo 2 de Bombardeo in the later 'sea grey' scheme selected for 'over-water' operations. I've put a patch.psd 'template' in there in case you'd like to switch things around and have both in silver or both in grey. COCKPIT I've used the A-4B pit as I think the cockpit framing looks quite suitable and the pit is nice and low-tech. The disadvantages are that there is no radar (not that the Beagle's radar was of much use) and that the A-4B pit is, of course, single-enginned. However, you can easily switch to another stock pit or go third-party. INSTRUCTIONS 1. From the AIRCRAFT folder drag and drop the IL-28_FAA folder into your Aircraft folder. 2. From the DECALS folder drag and drop the IL-28_FAA folder into your Decals folder. 3. From the PILOTS folder drag and drop the PILOT_COAN folder into your Pilots folder. That's it!
