    Ural-375 Truck / Soviet Main Truck replacing the Zil and Produced between 1964-1979
    Ural-4320 Truck Then became the Main Truck being produced from 1976 onward. And was
    Very similar. Main noticeable difference being the front Grill.
     
    Varieties
    The Ural-375D came in a variety of forms:
     
    Ural-375 has an open cab roof that could be covered by a canvas - i.e.: a soft-top cab rather than a hardtop.
    Ural-375A has a fully enclosed all-steel cab, was a chassis for wagon-style body, payload 12,787 lb (5,800 kg), framework shortened to 13.2'
    Ural-375D Most produced 375.
    Ural-375S was a tractor-trailer truck with framework shortened to 5.3'.

    The Ural-375D has the same equipment as the GAZ-66 and ZIL-131.

    Install:
    Drop "Objects" and "Sounds" Folders into the root folder of the Game of choice, overwrite.
    Drop the contents of the _Skins into each Trucks folder. eg:
    x:\Wings Over Europe\Objects\GroundObject\Ural-375D\Green
    Open the *_DATA.INI for each truck and change the Nation to the appropiate nation for that map. eg:
    SF1 Desert NationName=Paran
    Wings Over Europe NationName=Soviet
    Wings Over Vietnam NationName=NVietnam
    Wings Over Isreal NationName=Egypt or Syria

    This was built in response to a question on Combat Ace.
     
    Credits go to Mitch for the original desert factory. I used one of the ground platte to make the aristrip. Next to Stary for his great terrain mods. If I have missed anyone please let me know so you are given proper credit.
     
    This was originally designed in WoE.
     
    What's in this package:

    1. Place all 8 items into a terrain folder of your choice.
     
    2. Add the GermanyG9 tile entry to your terrain_data.ini.
    To do so, open the terrain_data.ini file with notepad and add the following entry:

    6. You can takeoff using the north-south runway currently. I am working on improving the line-up and use of the 30 degree offset runway.

  14. Soft targets for Wings Over Russia

    While working on some new campaigns for Wings Over Russia, I thought it could be a good idea to transpose into the infinite plains of Mother Russia my former mod providing infantry objects for Wings Over Africa – and thus, to hand over soft targets to be strafed by your Shturmoviks and Jabos. Here you will find Soviets and Germans, but also Romanians, Hungarians, Italians, Poles and Finns: actually, several of the enclosed units are linked to Eastern battlegrounds not included at the moment in Wings Over Russia (Poland in 1939, Finnish Winter & Continuation Wars, Danubian Europe 1944-45...); but I still hope that in some future they will be!
     
    Once more, this work is an adaptatation from Kesselbrut's famous mod providing infantry squads and AT guns crews as 'soft' ground objects (with some files and skins from Heck's work for First Eagles, a handful of other skins from various other objects, and my own tweaked graphical modifications). Proper credits and links are given in the ReadMe file.

  17. Soft targets for Wings Over Africa

    While working on some new campaigns for Wings Over Africa, I have examined many detailed orders of battle for ground units and sub-units. And always in search of ultimate accuracy, I have realized that several of these units, even at division-level, couldn't honestly be materialized on this dusty battlefield with any of the many tanks, SP guns, or even armoured cars provided with the mod. Lacking armour and engines, these units should be definitely classified as 'soft' targets. Yes, that sort of targets that allow pure fighters even carrying machine-guns only to enrich their score anyway, besides...
     
    Needless to say (safe for credits and acknowledgements), this work is an adaptatation from Kesselbrut's famous mod providing infantry squads and AT guns crews as 'soft' ground objects. Some files and several skins come from Heck's work for First Eagles, a handful of other skins come from various other objects, sometimes with my own graphical modifications. Proper credits and links are given in the ReadMe file. These new infantry objects will be required for a couple of new campaigns for WoA that I plan to deliver soon.

    After extracting the .zip, you'll find a folder called "PATRIOT". It has two .txt files in it.
    Copy the contents of the "Copy to xxxxx_TYPES" file to your TERRAIN_TYPES.ini
    Copy the contents of the "Copy to xxxxxx_targets" file to your TERRAIN_TARGETS.ini

    FOLLOW THE NUMBERING SEQUENCE!!!

    You'll notice that the battery has two SAM radars and two EWR. That's because the engine identifies the PATRIOT radar and EWR as a ground objects and not as radars. The won't appear on RWR and anti-radiation missiles will not home onto them. In the way I arranged the battery, a homing missile will destroy the generic radar, and, because of proximity, the PATRIOT radar too.

    This is a NATO Vehicle Depot. This is an enhanced version. If you have the old one, just delete it and install this one. Instructions in the README pdf included.
     
    It has SAMs, but for a dark reason, the may not appear. I hope you enjoy it!!!!

    Forgot to say in the README: The original author of the platte is Mitch. This depot must be placed on a flat area, as the plate is a flat objets, the same as with air bases. You should choose a flat area of the terrain, or a previously flattened area using Third Wire's Terrain Editor.
