    1. The first of 5 new Albatros skins for the "Italian Front" user-built missions
      is a plain OeFFAG Albatros D.III 153.

The skin file must be unzipped. Then it goes here:

OBD Software > CFSWW1 Over Flanders Fields > campaigns > CampaignData > skins

Thanks to all OBD skinners for their over 3.400 skins - your works inspired me!

    2. Another KuK skin for the DFW C.V. I made this for House Hobbit's Italian mission pack.

Fuselage factory painted with 2-tone hex-edged bands. Rest of plane hastily sprayed in field. Based on a UFFAG-made Brandenburg C.I from 1918.

    3. Albatros D.V "Windrose"

Inspired by the 3. Albatros D.Va built by THE VINTAGE AVIATOR, I made this skin.
The plywood of the TVA craft was varnished with a clear laquer with a warm redbrownish tone added.
It looks like a darker honey, or amber.
Together with the mauve and green upper wing camo, it goes very nicely.

The skin file has to be unzipped, and goes into this folder:

OBD Software > CFSWW1 Over Flanders Fields > campaigns > CampaignData > skins

If you want to use it on an Albatros D.V early (the "hunchback one", you only need to delete the word "later_" with one subline.

The skin uploaded here has no capital "H" on the wing; I thought you'd like to use your own pilot's first letters.

Thanks again, OBD skinners, as I was inspired your your over 3.400 skins, and worked after them.

    4. Yet another skin for the DFW C.V in OFF. This one is done in Austro-Hungarian hex camo. The fuselage is 7 colors, totally random. The upper surfaces are 6 colors arranged semi-randomly in stripes and squiggles. I got this paintjob from (many) photos of Knoller C.II(Lo) number 119.15 in a museum in the Czech Republic. The paintjob is copied hex-for-hex from that plane, but because the DFW is somewhat larger and has different proportions, the pattern doesn't quite fit and I had to ad lib all the wingtips.

NOTES: The hex pattern is NOT supposed to like up between the top and the sides of the fuselage--they don't on the real plane. Also, there are some texture mapping issues, most noticeably on the upper wing just left of center at the trailing edge. Pretend those are repair patches--nothing I can do about them.

      Greetings All,

After being inspired by Bullethead's D.VII in Austrian hex camo, I decided to skin up an Albatros D.III in the very odd yet somehow strangely compelling J.Backhausen & Sohne swirl camo pattern. After painting my own 'fabric' using an original factory printed template and notes on the subject found at The Aerodrome forums I got to work applying it on to an early OFF Albatros D.III, (which is as close as we can currently get to the OFFAG Albs). Hope you enjoy winging along in this kite high above the Alps.

      Cheers!

      Lou

    6. Hello Folks
As promised here are my final Versions of my different Sound Mods. They are JSGME-Ready, just unzip both Downloads to your MODS-Folder at your OFF-Installation. Let them overwrite everything, ignore all Warnings! Now it should work!
The good News: You do not need any longer all of my previous Mods, you can delete them all. These two Packages include ALL of my Work, plus the new Sound Tweak III. Previous Mods are not neccessary!!! You will also do not need Creaghorn's Sound Tweak II any longer, of course you can use it, if you like.
I've worked very long on this, and I hope you all enjoy this as much as I do!
      What's new in this Mod?
      1. New Sounds for the SE5a Viper and the German Albatros-Series. I've returned back to Creaghorn's Mercedes Engines, they are much better than mine. But I've changed the Exterior Sounds and the Startup Sequence.
      2. New Explosions. You will now hear new FLAK, New Ground Explosions and new Frontambience. Before you start your Engine, listen to the "Thunder" in the Background
      3. New "Whistle" Sounds when you drop a Bomb
      4. New "Screams" when a Pilot is wounded (more scary)
      5. New Bullet hit Sounds. Some Bullets will now scratch sometimes on Metal.
      6. New Exterior Engine Sounds for the Sopwith-Series, Nieuport-Series, Spad and SE5-Series, Fokker and Albatros-Series, and some Two-Seaters.
      7. Some new Gun Sounds for Aircraft. I like them!
      8. New Ground Gunnery Machineguns.

I've used some Samples from old Sound Tweak II and also the XML-File Creaghorn modified some Years ago. Thank you for that!
Thanks to PANAMA RED and OLPAINT for helping me converting my Files! You helped me very much

    7. Expanded and cleaned-up names files for Over Flanders Fields and OFFbase. Greatly increases the number of unique names for these campaigns, and also skews distributions so some more common names are more likely to appear in-game.

Statistics: This mod increases the number of unique American names in OFF: Hat in the Ring from 68,068 to 109,538, and unique British names from 60,648 to 150,336. The number of unique German names blooms from just 11,850 in the original OFF: Between Heaven and Hell, to 116,446 in HitR by including Creaghorn’s German last names, to a robust 457,380 with this mod. Take note: there are still only 68,730 unique French names—if someone else wants to take a crack at it.

      Over Flanders Fields

      JoneSoft Generic Mod Enabler

      Credits:

Original files by OBD Software, with HitR including Creaghorn’s expanded German last names from his Homebrew.

      Installation and Usage:

The installer automatically extracts the mod folders into your OFF JSGME modsfolder if OFF and JSGME are installed correctly. Activate the mod folders manually in JSGME, or the Mod Manager included in the OFFice campaign editor will take care of it all automatically.
    8. Period-appropriate piano music for the German campaign sets quite a different mood than the cinematic presentation of the official soundtrack. Additional musical immersion mods may follow for other nations.

The Music: The Austrian composer and painter Arnold Schönberg scores the German campaign. The break-down of classical tonality pioneered in these piano works presaged the collapse of European civilization into the Great War.

      Drei Klavierstücke, Op.11
      Composed: 1909
      Published: 1910

      Sechs kleine Klavierstücke, Op.19
      Composed: 1911
      Published: 1913

      Installation:

The installer will extract the mod into your OFF JSGME mods folder if OFF and JSGME are installed correctly. Either activate manually in JSGME, or OFFbase 0.7.7 and above will activate the mod automatically for German campaigns.

Obviously conflicts with the "Creaghorn StartupGerman" mod and other music replacers. OFFbase will give this pack priority for the German campaign if installed.
