    2. OTC 2 Cuba tree mod

This is tree mod and tiles update for OTC 2 Cuba terrain.

Apart from adding varying coverage of trees, I've also did some retiling, to introduce new tiles for visuals improvement, and to avoid spawning of trees in the wrong place, eg. on runways, also not to have some targets in dense jungle, rather on less covered grounds.

    3. Enhanced Explosions 3 effects pack

My third approach at modyfying explosions to give them that familiar hollywood-style exaggerated look: new graphics, new emitters, brand new look for the series. And YES, they are best looking when combined with the HDR/Bloom plugin.

New for the series are generic nuclear effects.

    4. New CBU-24/B CBU shape

I built this to replace the blunt shaped CBU-24/B CBU munition in the sim, as that shape is actually the SUU-30B/B dispenser. The CBU- designation for munitions is actually the combined SUU- dispenser and BLU-submition bomblet combined. A bit complicated.

The weapon as supplied in the sim should actually be the CBU-24B/B (using the blunt nosed SUU-30B/B shape). That was introduced in 1969 or so and was seen during the 1972 Linebacker operations.

This weapon is the CBU-24/B (using the more streamlined SUU-30/B shape) and was used until about 1971 or so when it seems that USAF stocks were pretty much used up in Southeast Asia.

You must be able to use the weaponeditor to have both shapes available.

My thanks to NGHENGO for converting the GMax files into a workable .LOD and .bmp file for me!

Revised 7-08 with better texture and resized shape.

      Enjoy,
      Mike Druzolowski

    5. Resized CBU-24/B CBU shape

This is a replacement visual model of the CBU-24/B CBU shape I made. The previous one was too long (converted from GMax issue perhaps). This one fits fore and aft on an MER. Skin is a bit better also.

    7. Mi-24 FYR Macedonia

Strike Fighters/Wings Over Vietnam/Wings Over Europe etc Mi-24 skins readme

All credit for these skins goes to their creators as detailed below. All I've done is to re-format them for SF\WOV\WOE and add a textureSet to each skin.

Not all of the countries for which we have skins are included in the standard NATIONS.ini list, so I've left those as Soviet. It doesn't make any difference to the skins' appearance as there are no decals to worry about. If you have the New Nations mod that includes these missing countries then feel free to modify the relevant TextureSet.

All you need to do is to extract the skin to your Objects\Aircraft\Mi-24 folder, then go fly and blow up some stuff.

Thanks must go to the A Team for making the Mi-24 for SF\WOV\WOE, Tim Conrad for the original Mi-24V, and of course TK for giving us these great sims to play with.

This skin is based on Mike Pearson's textures and converted with his kind permission.

      Enjoy, and good hunting

    12. Mi-24 Hungary 87th Helicopter Regiment

    17. 366th TFW "Gunfighters" F-4Ds for WOV

366th TFW "Gunfighters" F-4Ds for Wings over Vietnam

This package is an attempt to give a more accurate look to the F-4Ds of PACAF's 366th TFW at Da Nang from 1968 to 1969. As was the case with the wing's F-4Cs, the 366th TFW adopted their own unique tailcode system where the first letter represented the squadron (A for the 389th TFS, B for the 390th TFS and C for the 480th TFS) and the second letter A thru Z was assigned to each individual aircraft. A total of 51 airplanes are supplied, all of which are serial numbers of actual F-4Ds from each squadron. Almost all tailcode/serial number combinations presented here are real.

There is some variation in markings from plane to plane as seen in actual photos.

Everyone enjoy, and if you have additional details to help make this package even better, please let me know!

    19. WW2 Europe by FNG2K & Edward

Europe WW2 Terrain for SF, WoE & WoV

I couldn't find the original readme, so we'll make due with this....

This is FNG2K and Edward's WW2 Europe terrain, reissued for those that don't have it. It is NOT as released, as I've made some small changes over the years since it's original release, most notably in the area of 'Ground Objects'. I've pulled them out of the terrain folder, and re-created them as GroundObjects. Their main inis have been adjusted, as per Patch 4 to have them show the proper way.

This is the COMPLETE terrain set, with all the various inis, bmps, tgas, and whatnot needed to ALMOST unzip and fly on. You'll be adding various items to several main game folders, so it is MORE THAN HIGHLY RECCOMENDED THAT THIS TERRAIN BE USED IN A "STAND-ALONE" WW2 ETO/SWOTL GAME INSTALL. For information on how to create one, if you don't know already, consult the Knowledge Base at CombatAce.
You'll find that information here: http://forum.combatace.com/index.php?showtopic=19630

Water effects are active, so Vista users take note...more information for you is below in the Install Instructions. See "Notes for Vista Users".

It is HIGHLY reccomended you have Geo's WW2 Ground Object Pak, for the various and sundry trucks, tanks, AFVs, AAA units and etcs. I've included as many as I can positively ID as coming with the original terrain set, as stated above, now turned into GroundObjects. Hopefully, I've filtered out the permissioned ones. If not, I apologize in advance.

NOTE: this terrain is NOT reccomended for use in a WW2 ETO/SWOTL install based on Wings Over Israel. WoI handles prop flight models in a 'most peculiar way', and you'll experience massive frustration in just trying to fly. It is designed, originally, for SF, but works in WoE and WoV, as long as the proper terrain cat is selected. See below for more detailed instructions

= NOTE: You MUST have the Bunyap Weapons & Guns Pak of 6/06 for the proper WW2 weapons and guns!! =
Although, I HAVE included my GunData.ini and GunData.dat files. These have all the proper WW2 guns and such.

Be advised, one of the objects I've added is the Nazi Flag. If you live in a country that prohibits it's exhibition, you may wish to delete the "3RFlag" bits.

PLEASE read the enclosed readme for full, detailed, step-by-step install directions. This complies with MOD Directive of June, 1941 #1058, but is NOT coverd by the Official Secrets Act.

      Good Hunting!

    22. LAU-88 for AGM-65D

The LAU-88 Rack is used on the F-16 to attach a load of Maverick AGM-65's to the wings. In theory the LAU-88 can carry up to 3 missiles yet most F-16's never carry more then 2 missiles per LAU-88, especially with the AGM-65D. AFAIK this either done for weight reasons (the wing attachment points can't carry the weight of 3 AGM-65D), for G-limitations or either because the inward missile would get in the way of inner wing attachments.

In SF/WOV/WOE/WOI the sim itself simulates this perfectly, yet when the player uses a custom loadout from the aircraft_loadout.ini, the mavericks are placed on both outside attachments of the LAU-88.

I modified the existing LAU-88 by removing the inner attachment-point and keeping the outer and bottom attachment. The only prerequisite is that you have the original LAU-88A object.
