    1. SF2 PTO - Zero and Rufe Pak

      SF2 Zero and Rufe Pak

-- Something for the PTO players --
      = For SF2, Full-4/5 Merged (Reccomended/Preferred) =

*There is a distinct possibility that this mod will =NOT= work in SF/Wo* 1stGen game installs, due to the excessive modifications made to fit them into the SF2 environment.*

This is a Compliation Pakcage of all the Mods/Reskins/etc for ArmorDave's A6M "Zero".
      Included in this pack are:

      A6M2 Type 21
      A6M2 "Sen Baku" by Christian59
      A6M5 Type 52a
      A6M5C Type 52c
      A6M7 Type 63
A6M2-N Rufe floatplane (both the early and late model sets - 'plane white-ish', and Camo green).

All have a (semi) compliant SF2 FM - however, as always, further tweeking may be necessary by experts. Personally, I think they're just a hair 'too good', but they fly very nicely.
Data ini edits add the SF2NA style 'carrier based statements', so they can/will fly from IJN carriers on terrains that have the proper naval map statements and _water.bmp. And if you posess operational IJN CVs (there's a WW2 ship pak in the works)

Pilot figures (including the fakepilot & pylons), weapons, sounds and a gun are included. Decal radomization is TRUE for all, and all skin maps are jpgs. New, SF2 versions of the 'box art' hangars and loading screens are included.

As always, fairly easy to follow, highly detailed install instructions are included. So, please read them. Also, give the "Notes" section a read too.
All original readmes, where discoverable, are included within their individual aircraft & skin folders.
Due to the age of these models, and the lack of access to the MAX files, any and all physical errors canNOT be fixed. They are 'as they are'.

    2. SF2 WW2 PTO D3A1 Val Pak

      SF2 WW2 D3A1 "Val" Dive Bomber

-- Something for the PTO players --

      = For SF2, Full-5 Merged (Reccomended/Preferred) =

*There is a distinct possibility that this mod will =NOT= work in SF/Wo* 1stGen game installs, due to the excessive modifications made to fit them into the SF2 environment.*

This is a compilation of all my work for Pasko's D3A1 Val. It is designed to replace ALL the previously released versions. So, be advised.
There is one aircraft in the pack with a multitude of skins:

IJN Carriers at Pearl Harbor (all 6)
IJN Carriers at Midway (all 4)
IJN mid-late war (carrier AND Land Based, 1 each)

12 skin/decal sets in all. Numbering is as historically accurate as days and weeks of research can determine (including work for the original release some years ago)

A semi-compliant SF2 Flight Model has been cobbled together, but it REALLLLLLY do needs further fine tuning by experts. I'm NOT happy at all with it; somebody PLEASE make the necessary adjustments. (do we have a begging smilie??)

All skins are jpg format. Decal randomization is set to TRUE, but this may NOT be historically correct; Squadron and Flight leaders used 3, 2 and 1 color bands on the tail to identify themselves. With randomizaion set TRUE, the No.1 Bird will be 'whatever' is chosen by the GameEngine ™. Research has shown the Squadron Commander (and suboritinate Flight leaders) tended to 'lead from the front', so if the randomization is bothersome, simply edit the required inis, and remove it.

SF2 versions of the old 'box art' Hangar and Loading screens are included.
Sounds, weapons, etc and so forth are included. As a bonus, I finally figured out the canopy animation, so use Shift/0 to open and close the cockpit window. Wingfold however, is NOT working as that was never built into the LOD. SF2NA Carrier Based Statements have been adjusted to suit.

As always, fairly easy to follow, highly detailed install instructions are included. So, please read them. Also, give the "Notes" section a read too. Information on the 'bombbay' is interestering to note!
All readmes from the original releases, and re-releases are included where discoverable from the archives.

    3. SF2 WW2 PTO Ki-27 Nate Pak

      SF2 WW2 Ki-27 "Nate"

-- Something for the PTO players --
      = For SF2, Full-5 Merged (Reccomended/Preferred) =

*There is a distinct possibility that this mod will =NOT= work in SF/Wo* 1stGen game installs, due to the excessive modifications made to fit them into the SF2 environment.*

This is a compilation of all my work, and anyone elses I could find, for Wolf's K-27 Nate IJAAF fighter. It is designed to replace ALL the previously released versions. So, be advised.

This pak comprises the complete aircraft, with several skins from differing time frames of WW2. Most are for those units based in China, Indo-China/Malaysia and Burma regions, with one I've been able to ID as being used in Japan in the last days of the war. Skins are by myself and Jeff "pcpilot" Gerald.

It has semi-compliant (VERY! semi!) SF2 Flight Models, but they REALLLLLLY do need further fine tuning by experts (meaning: it turns on a dime, and gives back 9.5 cents change).
All skins are in jpg format, and decal randomization (for those with ID numbers) is set to TRUE. the 77 Sentai skins use decals for the Chutai markings. I've tried, as best as possible, to use the 'StartDefaultDate' on all skins to limit the availability for pre-War markings from those that came into being post-American entry into WW2. 2 of these skins are Sentai that operated in Manchuria against the Soviets in the Late 1930s.

A new SF2 version of the old 'box art' Hangar Screen is included.
Sounds are included (which you prolly have anyway, along with the bombs and drop tanks.) A new glass tga finally allows the aircraft to have visible windows.

As always, fairly easy to follow, highly detailed install instructions are included. So, please read them. Also, give the "Notes" section a read too.
All readmes from the original releases, and re-releases, are included where discoverable from the archives.

This will give the AVG guys something to go up against -- 77 Sentai was one of their main antagonists.
Also included is my HomeGrown Template ™. It too, could use some enhancing.
Remember folks, the physical model is very old; "it is as it is", and any flaws/faults cannot be fixed without the unavailable MAX files.

    4. SF2 WW2 PTO Ki-43 Oscar by ArmorDave

      SF2 WW2 PTO Ki-43 Oscar by ArmorDave

-- Something for the PTO players --
      = For SF2, Full-4/5 Merged (Reccomended/Preferred) =

*There is a distinct possibility that this mod will =NOT= work in SF/Wo* 1stGen game installs, due to the excessive modifications made to fit them into the SF2 environment.*

This is an SF2 version of my 1stGen "AD Oscar Update Pak". I'd forgotten to upload it (what with all the personal computer drama lately...and still ongoing...) so here it is now.

Unlike the original SF/Wo* pak, I've created all 3 skins for the 11 Sentai; each of the 3 Chutai are represented by different color lightning bolt on the tail.
The other skin included is 1 Sentai, 3 Chutai, iirc, from the CBI region.

All skins are jpg, and as these Sentai used no individual aircraft numbers, the only marking are the tail decals (for 11 Sentai)

As expected, it has a semi-compliant SF2 Flight Models, but they do need further fine tuning by experts.
To diferentiate it from the Wolf Oscar, in-game you'll see the displayed name:

      Ki-43-Ia "Oscar" (AD)

As always, fairly easy to follow, highly detailed install instructions are included. So, please read them. Remember -- these are very old models, so they "are as they is". All original readmes, when discoverable, are included.

    5. SF2 N1K1 Rex and N1K2-J George

      SF2 N1K1 "Rex" and N1K2-J 'George"

-- Something for the PTO players --
      = For SF2, Full-4/5 Merged (Reccomended/Preferred) =

*There is a possibility that this mod will =NOT= work in SF/Wo* 1stGen game installs, due to the excessive modifications made to fit them into the SF2 environment. Also, the DestroyedModel referenced for both aircraft 'looks' for the SF2V A-1 Skyraider, hence the Full 4/5 Merged reccomendation*

Mods/reskins/redcals for Wolf257's IJN fighter, and Pasko's Rex Floatplane. This package contains BOTH full aircraft:

N1K1 Kyofu "Rex" by Pasko, with both it's skins/decals
"Black" - Ohtsu Kokutai, Lake Biwa, Japan, Sept. 1944
"Green" 22 Kokutai, Balikpapan, Borneo, 1945

      N1K2-J Skinden-kai "George" by Wolf257, with 3 skins/decals
      "343" Genda's Squadron of Experts
"IJN" 210 Kokutai, Phillipines, 1944 (real Ku used the early model mid-wing N1K1-J)
"IJN2" Yokosuka Air Group, 1945, Home Islands Defense

All George skins are in jpg format, the Rex keeps them in bmp as they are quite small (512x), and conveting them might loose some detailing (meaning: I didn't want to create new templates, and they look OK as they are). Decal Randomization is TRUE. Both get new SF2 versions of the original 'box art' hangar screens.

All weapons, (ok a new drop tank), pilot figures, are included. A new (almost) SF2-compliant FM for bot was created. As always, since I'm really not an FM Guru, further tweeks/adjustments are necessary. Also, the physical models are quite old, and any flaws/defects/etc cannot be repaired/fixed/etc. It is as it is. The "FakePilot" method is used on the George to add the belly pylon. Outerpylons are still 'not there' for bombs. Damage textures are the 'original' tgas from Gen1.
Stary was kind enough to revist and fiddle a new cockpit for the George; the Rex keeps it's original release version.

Both have semi-compliant SF2 Flight Models, but they do need further fine tuning by experts. All lighting on both aircraft is 100% historically correct.
For those wishing to create other serials, the "TNum.psd" can be found in the Decals folders for the proper skins.

As always, fairly easy to follow, highly detailed install instructions are included. So, please read them. Also, give the "Notes" section a read too. All original readmes, when locatable, are included for historical purposes

    6. SF2 WW2 F4U-2 Corsair Nightfighter (Birdcage) by Mod Mafia/TMF

      SF2 WW2 F4U-2 Corsair Nightfighter (Birdcage) by Mod Mafia/TMF (Ver 2.0)

*Version 2.0, for post 7/13 patch. This Version Replaces the earlier one in its Entirety. Although, for the most part, the changes only relate to the wing mounted radar pod. (data and loadout ini edits*

      = For SF2, Full-4/5 Merged (Reccomended/Preferred) =

*Note: There is a distinct possibility that this mod may not work in SF/Wo* 1stGen game installs at any patch level, due to the excessive modifications made to fit them into the SF2 environment. End Users ™ that attempt to do so, do so at their own risk. A Full 4/5 Merged install is reccomened; at very minimum, SF2:V is required, as this aricraft references the A-1H's destroyed model*

*Note #2: this mod will REPLACE, in it's entirety, the F4U-2 I built using Wolf's as a base. You may (well, should!) delete that mod completly*

This represents the F4U-2 Corsair Nightfighter, as used by the USMC and USN. This is a mod of the TMF Birdcage Corsair, and uses the -5N cockpit (which I know ain't correct), which has the radar scope.

New for Ver 2.0: The AN/APS-4 wing-mounted radar pod has been added as a "fake pilot seat", and will NOT move when the wings are folded. It was done like this, simply because in the post 5/13 and 7/13 patch world, the right wing would disappear. Completely.

      Units depicted are:

      VF(N)-101 US Navy

      VMFN-532 USMC

All skins are in jpg format, Decal Randomization is TRUE (these decals are reused from the Wolf Corsair mod). Damage textures are the old tga versions. The Hangar screen is the same one resued, and is SF2 compliant.

      When 'in game', you'll see

      "F4U-2 Corsair (TMF)"

on the aircraft drop-down selection window.

The aircraft is fully carrier capable. The canopy operates via the Standard Animation Keystorke ™ of Shift/0. Breaking with Modder tradition, the wingfold operates via the "airbrakes" key. I didn't change to the standard Shift/9, as the last time I did it, I broke it!. So, it is as it was originally set by Bpao. However, commented out ARE the sections that do allow for Standard Keystroke ™ animation wingfold. It is suggested you do NOT change it from how it's done now. Doing so creates "visual oddities" on carrier parked aircraft (the right wing is missing!)

All lighting is historically accurate. WW2 weapons (ie: bombs), pilot figres, etc, are NOT included. You should have them already from the other Corsairs.

As always, fairly easy to follow, highly detailed install instructions are included. So, please READ them. Also, give the "Notes" section a read too for futher explinations, clarifactions, illuminations and so forth.

    7. SF2 WW2 FAA Grumman Martlet I, III and IV

SF2 WW2 FAA Grumman Martlet I, III and IV

      -- Something for the WW2 ETO/MTO players --

      = For SF2, Full-5 Merged (Reccomended/Preferred) =

*There is a possibility that this mod may work in SF/Wo* 1stGen game installs, but due to the excessive modifications made to fit them into the SF2 environment, it may not without serious editing.*
*Full-5 Perfered, as these aircraft make use of the SF2NA Carrier-basing statements*

Further mods and rebuilds to Pasko's Wildcat, recreate Royal Navy Martlets. This is a compilation, in some respects, of all the RN Wildcat mods. However, most of the skins and decals ARE new builds.
Aircraft and Skins in the Pak are...

      Martlet I/III

804 Squadron (originally land based in the Orkneys)
805 Squadron (semi-fictional "what-if" based aboard HMS Eagle in the Eastern Med)
805 Squadron (Land based, Western Desert -standard RAF Desert Camo)

      Martlet IV

819 Squadron (? or was it 891?) based aboard HMS Activity (??, well, escort carriers in the North Atlantic)

It should be noted the 'standard FAA camo scheme' used (except on 805DAF) is usable anywhere in the ETO or MTO for the timeframe these aircraft were in operation.
Like the USN Wildcats, the Standard Animation Keystorkes ™ are used for the Canopy (Shfit/0), and Wingfold (Martlet IV -ONLY!-), is Shift/9.
Sounds, pilot figure and weapons are included, as are new SF2 versions of the Hangar screen. A new cockpit by Stary is used for both; his 'generic' Early WW2 pit.

AND!!! by acting now and downloading this mod, you get an extra expecial BONUS!!!

      Attacker Class CVEs

Modded (once again), from the USN CVE, which is in fact a mod of Hinchbrook's MAC. All set up, SF2NA-wise for use by the Royal Navy!!

As always, fairly easy to follow, detailed install instructions are included. So, please read them. Also, give the "Notes" section a read too.
Both Pasko's original Wildcat, and my original Martlet release readmes are included. Give them a perusal; there's some (semi) historical notes and stuff that might be of interest. As always, I hope I got everyone in the Credits.

    8. SF2 WW2 Gloster Gladiator Mk.2 and Sea Gladiator by Cocas

SF2 WW2 Gloster Gladiator Mk.2 and Sea Gladiator by Cocas

      -- Something for the WW2 ETO/MTO players --
      = For SF2, Full-5 Merged (Reccomended/Preferred) =

*This mod will most likely =NOT= work in SF/Wo* 1stGen game installs, due to some of the modifications made to fit them into the SF2 environment, expecially in the case of the latest MAX exported user to create them. Users that try, do so at their own risk.*

Some modification, tweeks, reskin and so forth for Cocas's fun little Gladiators; this package contains SF2 =ONLY= versions of his Gladiator Mk.2 and Sea Gladiator.

      Skins and decals included are...

      Gladiator Mk.2
112 Squadron, RAF as seen at Helwan, Egypt 1940
1 Squadron, SAAF, in East Africa 1940-ish
1ère Escardrille de Chasse, Belgian AF, 1940

      Sea Gladiator, Royal Navy

RN Markings are rather 'generic'; the first 18 serials are those that HMS Eagle dropped off on Malta, and eventually became the Hal Far Fighter Flight. Those 100% historicaly known to have been used on Malta are marked with a star (*).

All skins are in jpg format. Decal Randomization is set to TRUE for all skins. New SF2 hangar screens are included, as is a destroyed model, pilot figure, and engine sound. You shoud have the 303 MGs in your /Guns folder already; it is not supplied herein.

      When 'in game', you'll see

      "Gladiator Mk.II (KAF)" and
      "Sea Gladiator (KAF)"

on the drop down menu. This will differentiate it from any other Gladiators you may (or may not) have. (the KAF stands for Kermit Aircraft Factory )
The canopy opens/closes with the Standard Animation Keystroke, Shift/0. The Sea Gladiator is fully carrier qualified, and has the latest SF2NA statements for carrier basing (on those terrains that have CV Zones built into them)

As an Extra Added Bonus, for use in the Med, some Regia Marina warships,
      Cavour Class BB
      Condottieri Class CL/CA
      Navigatori Class DD
      and
      HMS Eagle.

Other Royal Navy ships (UK) can be found in the PTO ships pak.
All are UPconverted for SF2NA-style usage. As with all the ships, they need more work on adding more 2ndary and AAA guns, but at least you'll have something floating around! (please note, they are now named differently from the ones used on the Westen Desert, Tunisia and WW2 Libya maps. Updates for those terrains _types inis are in 'the works' and will be relasesed in the VERY near future. I hope!!)

*This mod will =NOT= work in SF/Wo* 1stGen game installs, due to the MAX level used to create it. It is HIGHLY suggested you be at the latest SF2 patch level for the mod to work properly*

This is the NAA F-82G "Twin Mustang" as operated by the USAF during the Korean War.

This is a BRAND NEW MODEL!!!, created expecially for KAW. You will probably want to delete any other Twin Mustang you may (or may not!) have. This will replace it completely.

This pack comes with 3 skins:

      4th AWS
      68th AWS
      339th AWS

as used in the Air Defense of Japan, and over Korea itself. All aircraft are finished in 'Night Black".
All skins and damage textures are in DDS format. Decal randomization is set to TRUE.
All sounds, weapons, pilot figures and goodies are included. A New SF2-style 'box art' hangar is included (rebuilt from the 1stGen version).

The Standard Animation Keystroke ™ operate the canopies (Shift/0).

*Note: This mod will most likely =NOT= work in SF/Wo* 1stGen game installs at any patch level, due usage of the latest TW Exporter, and DDS format skins. End Users ™ that attempt it, do so at their own risk. A Full 5 Merged install is reccomened at the LATEST patch level.*

*Note: this aircraft =WILL= replace any other A/B-26B Invader you may (or may not) have. It's HIGHLY advisable you delete said aircraft and decals from your game install*

*Note: (again!) In 1947, the "A" for "Attack" designation was removed from use, and the A-26 Invader renamed to B-26 Invader (for Light Bomber Squadrons). Also, with the retirement of the Martin B-26 Marauder after WW2, the name was "open for reuse". To that end, the displayed name on the Single Mission screen will read "A-26B Invader (B-26B)".

The skins represent aircraft from the 13th BS, 3rd BG, as seen in Korea. Aircraft are finished in 'Night Intruder Black". Serial numbers and nose are are 98.6% historically correct; nose arts are matched to the aircraft's serial and ID Letter, via exhaustive research (oh, boy it was!).

Weapons are NOT included; they can be found in the KAW Weapons Pak. However, the 'para-illuminator flare pod' is, for those pesky night interdiction mission. In fact, just as a CYA measure, my /Effect folder is included (which is also available in one of the KAW Mod Paks -forget which one, exactly!)
Pilot figures, sounds are included, as is a SF2-style version of the my original "Box Art" Hangar screen. A Userlist.ini was also created.

The canopy opens with the Standard Animation Keystroke ™, Shift/0.

    11. SF2 WW2 F4U-1C Corsair by Mod Mafia/TMF

      SF2 WW2 F4U-1C Corsair by Mod Mafia/TMF

      = For SF2, Full-4/5 Merged (Reccomended/Preferred) =

*Note: There is a distinct probability that this mod will =NOT= work in SF/Wo*
1stGen game installs at any patch level. Due to the excessive modifications made to
fit them into the SF2 environment. End Users ™ that attempt to do so, do so at
      their own risk. A Full 4/5 Merged install is reccomened at the LATEST patch level;
at very minimum, SF2:V is required, as this aricraft references the A-1H's
destroyed model. Also, due to some bmp mapping in dds format, there are some things
that just make it impossilbe for 1stGen to generate. At all.*

*Note #2: this model will REPLACE, in it's entirety, those using Wolf's as a base.
You may (well, should!) delete that mod completly; both the aircraft and decals
folders. These, again, will replace them.*

A brand new model, based on Bpao's F4U-1D, converted to the F4U-1C by RussoUK2004.
With Extra Expecial Thanks to Russ for MAX work on the model; he truely made this
variant possible! He went 'above and beyond' to fix some issues I was having.

This is the F4U-1C Corsair, as seen from early 1945 unitl the end of the War.
      Skin/Decals set included are for:

      USN/USMC:
      VBF-85, aboard USS SHANGRI LA
      VMF-311, aboard USS BRETON (CVE-23)
      VMF-331, land based on Okinawa

All skins are in jpg format, Decal Randomization is TRUE. New SF2-style hangar
screens are included (watch the switch when flying Marine squadrons). Damage
textures are the old tga versions.

The "prop fix" from the Birdcage and -1A/-1D variants has already been applied to
      the mod.
USN Air Group markings are the "G" system, and are painted on the skins. This
system was used from Jan 1945 to July 1945, when Air Group marking began changing
the now in-use "Letter" style. My research has shown that many squadron still were
using G-symbols on VJ-Day (although, in truth, Shangri La DID start using it's "Z"
code in July. Photos prove this!!). Decals are used for most other markings, and
      Randomization is set to TRUE.
A user list is included; operational service dates have been rounded to the closest
      whole Year (ie: 1944).

The aircraft is fully carrier capable. The canopy operates via the Standard
Animation Keystorke ™ of Shift/0. Breaking with Modder Tradition, the wingfold
operates via the "airbrakes" key. I didn't change to the standard Shift/9, as the
last time I did it, I broke it!. So, it is as it was originally set by Bpao.
All lighting is historically accurate. WW2 weapons (ie: bombs, rockets) are NOT
included. You should have them already. The drop tank is, as is the pilot figure
and engine sounds (which you may also have already!).
A new 20mm gun, created by Russo, is included as well. (thanks again!)

Also, I've preformed a slight "Cheat" on the VMF-311 skin; it's Nation tagged as
"USN", because for some reason, nowadays, USMC Air Units are relegated to Land-
based Ops only. By doing so, I've allowed the Game Engine ™ to generate them
      aboard ship.

when 'in game', you'll see "F4U-1C Corsair (TMF)" in the aircraft selection drop-
down window. This will diferentiate it from any other -1Cs you may (or may not)
      have.

As always, fairly easy to follow, detailed install instructions are included. So,
please READ them. Also, give the "Notes" section a read too for futher
explinations, clarifactions, illuminations and so forth.
      Good Hunting!

    12. SF2 WW2 Curtis-Wright Hawk 75A, French Armee De L'Air Package

Curtis-Wright Hawk 75A, French Armee De L'Air Package

      - For SF2, Full 4/5 Merged (Full 5 Reccomended)

An SF2 revamp of my original 1stGen AdA Hawk 75 Package.
This is a complete package including ALL parts necessary to unzip and install a new, export version of Wolf's P-36 Mohawk, for the French Air Force from the start of WW2, to the time of the 'Sitzkrieg', and then into the Battle of France.

This package contains 7 skins & decal sets for the following units:

      N124
      SPA67
      SPA95
      SPA153
      SPA155
      SPA160

By using my 'fake SqTail decal', those French AF squadrons listed in the game's SqudronList.ini will have there actual name show up on the Loadout Screen. Some I could match to present day, some I could not. A couple actually revert to the same 'parent unit'. Go figure!

Like the NEI and Vichey versions, it has a semi-compliant SF2 FM (which, as always, needs further refinements by Experten). Skins are in jpg format, and decal randomization is set to TRUE.
All weapons, guns and 'fake pilot' pylons, pilot figure, sounds and new SF2-style Hangar/Loading screens are included.

The original Wolf cockpit has been replaced by one of Star's "Generic WW2 Cockpits" (in this case, Midwar #3). Readouts have been semi-converted to Metric standards. A "Destroyed Model" (converted from on the ww2 terrain static aircraft) is also included.

As always, fairly easy to follow, highly detailed install instructions are included. So, please read them. Also, give the "Notes" section a read too.
The original Release Readme from the 1stGen version is included, for purposes of historicality, and it contains all the necessary credits and thank yous and such likes.

A revamp, for SF2, of my Vichy French Hawk 75A (a mod of Wolf257's P-36 Mohawk).
Like the NEI & AdA versions, it has a semi-compliant SF2 FM (which, as always, needs further refinements by Experten). Skins are in jpg format, and decal randomization is set to TRUE.
A "repersentative" verion of those aircraft used in North Africa and Middle East (Syria/Lebanon).

All weapons (ok, the 7.5mm FN machine gun), pilot figure, sounds and new SF2-style Hangar/Loading screens are included.

The original Wolf cockpit has been replaced by one of Star's "Generic WW2 Cockpits" (in this case, Midwar #3). A "Destroyed Model" (converted from on the ww2 terrain static aircraft) is also included.

    14. SF2 French Navy F6F-5 Hellcat and F4U-7 Corsair

SF2 French Navy F6F-5 Hellcat and F4U-7 Corsair

      = For SF2, Full-4/5 Merged (Full-5 Reccomended/Preferred) =

This pak could also be called "Post-War French Naval Aviation".

*Note: There is a distinct probability that this mod will =NOT= work in SF/Wo* 1stGen game installs. However, some data ini and other statements will =NOT= be in effect in 1stGen SF/Wo* at any patch level (with the possible exception of WoI plus it's ExpansionPak -this has not been tested, as I ONLY mod for SF2). It is designed for use in SF2/SF2NA, at the most CURRENT patch level. Your milage will vary!*

*Note x2: built/tested in the SF2NA Environment; Again, your milage will vary*

The pack contains the following aircraft, skin/decal sets:

      F6F-5 Hellcat:
Flotille 1, aboard Arromanches, early 1950s in Indochina

      F4U-7 Corsair:
Flotille 14, aboard Arromanches 1950s, Indochina
Flotille 15, circa 1956, with Suez yellow/black 'Invasion Stripes'

FMs have been adjusted as per the KAW Corsairs, and the WW2 USN Hellcat. Skins on the Corsair have been conveted to jpg format; the skin for the Hellcat remains in tga format. Decal randomization is TRUE for all.
Both aircraft are "stand alone versions", nationalized for French Navy usage.
All sounds, weapons, pilot figures, etc are included. New SF2-style hangar screens were created for both aircraft.

The canopy for both works via Standard Animation Keystroke; Shift/0. The wingfold on the Hellcat does NOT work; however, the Corsair's does (I didn't break this one!). Use it's Standard Animation Keystroke; Shift/9.
Both aircraft are fully carrier capable in the SF2/SF2NA environment.

      When in-game, you'll see

      F6F-5 Hellcat (FN)
      and/or
      F4U-7 Corsair (FN)

in the Aircraft Selection Drop-down window.

As a bonus, included are also Optional modifications to the following terrains:

      VietnamSEA
      IsrealME

These have modified _water.bmps that have the 'green CV Zones' added. V-SEA has them approximatly for Yankee & Dixie stations. IME has them approximately for Operation Musketeer (56 Suez Crisis). Both terrain's main and nations' ini have been expanded to include 'FrenchNavy'.
Also, you'll be needing to extract the Game's Nations.ini, and make one small adjustment to it. Instructions are below, in the "To Install" section.

And.. by downloading now, an extra added bonus!!! a couple of FN ships:
R95 Arromanches aircraft carrier, from PauloPanz's "9 Carriers" mod pak (with minor changes by me)
Le Brix class destroyers, based on Hinchbrooks' C-Class DD. A pure stand-in; but something was needed for the CVBG. This will have to suffice for now.

As always, fairly easy to follow, yet detailed install instructions are included. So, please -READ- them. Also, give the "Notes" section a read too for futher explinations, clarifactions, illuminations and so forth.

      SF2 WW2 Heinkel He-219 Uhu by Pasko

-- Something for the WW2 ETO Players --

      = For SF2, Full-4/5 Merged (Reccomended/Preferred) =

      * There is a possibility that this mod may work in SF/Wo* 1stGen game installs. However, due to the extensive modifications made to fit them into the SF2 environment, some features may not work or other issues may present themselves. Those that attempt SF/Wo* usage do so at their own risk.
This mod was built and tested in an ETO-centric mods folder built from SF2NA, at the latest patch level. *

Modification/tweeks/adjusments/etcs for Pasko's WW2 Luftwaffe Nightfighter, bring it to a more usable state in the SF2 envrioment.

According to the original readme, this repsents He-219A-7s in the Late War timeframe.
Skins and decals in this Pak are...

1/NGJ-1 (gray mottle uppers, night black unders)
      2/NJG-1 (overall gray mottle)

The skins, due to their size and lo-rezness, have been left in their original bmp format. All new 'code letter/call letters' for both have been created. There are no Stab markings for either aircraft. Guns are not included; you should have them already.
A new SF2 version of my 'box art' hangar, and new loading screen are provided.
See change log for more details.

As always, fairly easy to follow, yet detailed install instructions are included. So, please read them. Also, give the "Notes" section a read too, as it contains the changelog.
All original readmes from the 1stGen releases are included somewhere in the various folders.

SF2 WW2 Hawker Hurricane IA (ETO/BoB), by Raven

-- Something for the WW2 ETO players --
      = For SF2, Full-5 Merged (Reccomended/Preferred) =

*There is a distinct possibility that this mod will work in SF/Wo* 1stGen game installs. However, due to some of the modifications made to fit them into the SF2 environment (read: data ini/cockpit tweeks, destroyed model), all the features will =NOT= be working as designed.*

Some modificationa, tweeks, reskins and so forth for Raven's excellent Hurricane Mk.1A, create an SF2-ish version. (although it needed very little work!!)
All new skins, from Raven's template, and bunches of new decals. Included are skins for:

      No. 1 Squadron (JX)
      No. 3 Squadron (QO)
      No. 242 Squadron (LE)

As seen during the Battle of Britian.
Each skin has the squadron crest as the paint chip, as seen on the Loadout Screen.
There is only one set of skin maps, located in the main aircraft folder. This mod makes use Brain32s "Multiple Use Skin Trick" ™. Each squadron calls it's own decals for their ID letters. The 'plane-in-group' letters and serial numbers use a pool of decals. The serials ARE historically those for Mk.1 Hurris, but should be considered 'generic' in nature.
Also, my "fake SqTail" decal is used, that will activate the Displayed Name those RAF squadrons in the stock SquadronList.ini.

A new SF2 version of my original "Box Art" hangar and loading screens (BoB Themed) are included.

Due to the rather short rangedness of this early mark, Mission Tasking has been reduced to CAP, INTERCEPT. I've left RECON and SWEEP, but this should only be used on small maps (like Gepard's Battle of Britian).

While this mod is basically designed for use ONLY in the Northern European environment, I've also included a Desert Air Force skin for No. 208 Squadron, as seen based in Egypt/Western Desert. Further instructions for adding to your MTO mods folder are below, in the "To Install" section.

When 'in game', you'll see "Hurricane Mk.IA (Raven)" on the drop down menu. This will differentiate it from any other Hurri IAs you may (or may not) have.

As always, fairly easy to follow, yet detailed install instructions are included. So, please =READ= them BEFORE installing this mod!!!. Also, give the "Notes" section a read too.
With Thanks To Raven for this bird,

    17. SF2 WW2 Focke Wulf FW-190A-1

      SF2 WW2 Focke Wulf FW-190A-1 by Wolf257

-- Something for the WW2 ETO players --
      = For SF2, Full-4/5 Merged ( Full-5 Reccomended/Preferred) =

*There is a possibility that this mod may work in SF/Wo* 1stGen game installs. However
due to the excessive modifications made to fit into the SF2 environment, not all
      features will be avaliable.*
*Note X2: this mod is designed for use =ONLY= in the ETO envrionment. Specific versions
for use in the MTO will be released seperatly*

Mods, rebuilds, reskining/redecaling for Wolf's FW-190. This is the first of a series
of FW-190 upgrades, that will cover those models (while still based off Wolf's original
LOD), that were/are available from the 1stGen SF/Wo* mods previously released. With
      required upgrades for SF2.

This mod is designed to REPLACE any 1stGen variant you may have in your WW2 ETO
intalls. Originally, this aircraft folder was just called "FW190". This has been
changed to more accuratly refelct the model depicted.

This package represents FW-190A-1s as first deployed in Western Europe. Skins/Decals in
      this pak are:
3/JG2, 'standard' Luftwaffe camo, circa 1941/42ish
      7/JG2, circa 1944-ish
JG-26 (consider this a more 'generic' skin/decal set. It shows up everywhere!)

Skins are in jpg format, and decal randomization is set to TRUE.
A (semi) compliant SF2 FM was cobbled together from various sources. As always, while
it works quite well, further fine tuning is required by Experten.
Sounds, pilot figures and weapons are included, as well a new SF2 version of my "box
      art" Hangar/Loading screens.

As always, fairly easy to follow, yet detailed install instructions are included.
PLEASE read them!!! Also, the "Notes" section for other important stuff of interest.
Wolf's original readme is included for historical purposes.

*Due to the age of the physical model (LOD), this mod is being released "as is"; PLEASE
see the Notes section for more info*

*There is a possibility that this mod may work in SF/Wo* 1stGen game installs. However due to the excessive modifications made to fit them into the SF2 environment, not all features will be avaliable. Plus all the other issues...*

Mods, rebuilds, reskining/redecaling for Pasko's Mosquitos. This is a compilation, in some respects, of many 1stGen WW2 mods of this aircraft. However, ALL the skins and decals ARE new builds.

Aircraft and Skins in the Pak are...

      Mosquite B. Mk.IV
      105 Squadron
      139 "Jamacia" Squadron

      Mosquito FB.VI
418 "City of Edmonton" Squadron, RCAF
      464 Squadron, RAAF

      Mosquito NF.XII
      96 Squadron

      Mosquito PR.IV
      1 PRU

...and one "just for fun" aircraft -- you all KNOW which movie Mosquito's I'm talking about!

When discoverable, the Squadron Crest is used for the 'color chip' on the Loadout Screen.
A new (mostly) SF2 compliant FM was created*. All loadouts have been corrected; gun round counts are now accurate. Unfortunately, due to AI problems, the FB.VI has all the guns set as "Primary".

Sounds, pilot figures and weapons are included, as are new SF2 versions of the Hangar screens, several of which are COMPLETLY new for this package.

As always, fairly easy to follow, yet detailed install instructions are included. PLEASE read them!!! Also, as mentioned, the "Notes" section for other stuff of interest.

due to the excessive modifications made to fit them into the SF2 environment, not all
features will be avaliable. Plus all the other issues...*

Some mods/reskin/redecaling for Pasko's Mosquito FB Mk.VI, as seen in the early to mid
1950s while serving with the Israeli Defense Forces.

Like the recently released WW2 versions, this get new skins in jpg format, decal
randomization is TRUE. A new (semi) compliant SF2 level FM, and other ini tweeks. Just
      like the others!
This is a complete aircraft pak, designed to replace any eariler version (as seen in
      the Suez Crisis Campaign Pak).

      2 skins are included:
Overall 'Silver Dope', as delivered in 1950
Overall 'Silver Dope' with Black/Yellow "Invasion Stripes" as seen during Operation
Mokeed. This skin replaces the one included in the Campaign Pak.

I've kept the aircraft folder name the same, so it should just drip right in, and NOT
mess up the campaign ini (I cross-checked the aircraft name in said ini to be sure!).
No weapons are included, other than the drop tank. These reference those from the Suez
Campaign Pak. Pilot figures, engine sound and a NEW SF2-style hangar screen are also
      included.

As always, fairly easy to follow, yet detailed install instructions are included.

    22. SF2 KAW Era F4U/AU-1 Corsair Pak by TMF

SF2 Korean War Era F4U/AU-1 Corsair Pak by TMF

      = For SF2, Full-5 Merged (Reccomended/Preferred) =

This package contains theTMF Corsairs for use during the Korean War. There are 4 complete aircraft in this pak, with a ship-load of skins/decal sets.

Skins/Decal sets are included for the following units:

      F4U-4:
      VF-24 "Renegades" (USS Boxer, 7/50-11/50)
VF-63 "Fighting Redcocks" (same as above)
      VF-64 "Freelancers" (same as above)
      VF-113 "Stingers"(USS Philippine Sea, 7/50-3/51)
      VF-114 "Excutioners" (same as above)
VMF-312 "Checkboards" (Shore based, various fields in Korea)

      F4U-4B:
      VF-53 (USS Essex 1/51-3/52)
      VF-54 (same as above)
      VF-192 (USS Princeton, 11/51-5/52)
VF-791 "Fighting Rebels" (USS Boxer, 3/51-10/51)
VMA-323 "Deathrattlers" (shore based, various fields in Korea)
VMA-332 "Polka Dots" (USS ??? -flew off CVE)
      VMF-214 "Black Sheep" (shore based)

      F4U-5NL:
      VC-3 (various Dets aboard ship)
VMF-513 "Flying Nightmares" (shore based, various fields)

      AU-1:
VMA-212 "Devil Cats" (land based until 1951, transfered to USS Bataan)
VMA-323 (used F4U from USS Badoeng Strait, 1950; shore based after?)

*Please note, many Corsair squadrons flew both the -4 and -4B at the same time. As the aircraft are mapped identically, it's an easy job to swap out skins/decal sets, for those so inclined. There is also one 'Easter Egg' squadron, as you all know how I hate wasting good skins/decal sets!! *

The aircraft is fully carrier-capable, with all the SF2NA coding for deck 'parking'.
Skins are in jpg format, so you MUST be at (minimum) Nov 2011, or the Latest July 2012 patch level (HIGHLY suggested!!!). All markings are decals and are Randomized. BuNums are accurate for the aircraft variant depicted, but not for the actual ones used by the squadrons; consider them 'generic' for that purpose.
Standard Animations keystrokes are used for the canopy (Shift/0) and wingfold (shift/9) *Note the -4/-4B wingfold no longer works for some inexplicable reason*.

As always, fairly easy to follow, highly detailed install instructions are included. So, please read them. Also, give the "Notes" section a read too.

*There is a possibility that this mod may work in SF/Wo* 1stGen game installs. However due to
the excessive modifications made to fit into the SF2 environment, not all features will be
      avaliable.*
*Note X2: this mod is designed for use =ONLY= in the ETO envrionment. Specific versions for use
in the MTO will be released seperatly, if required*

Mods, rebuilds, reskining/redecaling for Wolf's FW-190. This is the second of a series of FW-
190 upgrades, that will cover those models (while still based off Wolf's original LOD), that
were/are available from the 1stGen SF/Wo* mods previously released. With required upgrades for
      SF2.
This mod is designed to REPLACE any 1stGen variant you may have in your WW2 ETO intalls. It is
reccomended you delete the aircraft and decals folders of the originals, as to NOT cause any
      conflicts with THIS mod.
This package represents FW-190A-5s as deployed in Western Europe. Skins/Decals in this pak are:

2/JG2 (with partial fues Eagle marking)
JG26 (once again, the slightly generic FW-190, this time with a slightly mottled fues camo)

Both represent aircraft from late 1942 onwards.
Skins are in jpg format, and decal randomization is set to TRUE.
A (semi) compliant SF2 FM was cobbled together from various sources. As always, while it works
quite well, further fine tuning is required by Experten.
Sounds, pilot figures and weapons are included, as well a new SF2 version of my "box art"
      Hangar and/or Loading screens.

Please note, the engine sound in this one has been changed to the AVHistory BMW 801 sound. It's
reccomeneded you make this change to the FW-190A-1 that was recently released. It's a VERY
      simple text edit.

As always, fairly easy to follow, yet detailed install instructions are included. PLEASE read
them!!! Also, the "Notes" section for other important stuff of interest. When discoverable,
Wolf's original readme is included for historical purposes.

*Due to the age of the physical model (LOD), this mod is being released "as is"; PLEASE see the
      Notes section for more info*

    25. SF2 WW2 Heinkel He-162 Volksjager

*Note: this mod is designed for use =ONLY= in the ETO envrionment.

Some small fiddling-with for Geo's Volksjager. Ini work includes a 'cobbled' together SF2 (semi) compliant FM, randomization of the decals, and some (very slight!!) reclaibration of some cockpit insturments. Skin is still in it's original bmp format. Decal randomization is set to "TRUE" for the 15 decals we have. A NEW SF2 'box art' Hangar screen was created for this mod.

All bits are included: sounds, pilot figure, the gun, etc. Operational years (ok, months!) are set semi-historical, with the correct 'In Service' StartDate (end of service date is conjectural; ie: end of 45)

As always, fairly easy to follow, yet detailed install instructions are included. PLEASE read them!!! Geo's original readme is included for historical purposes.
