A-1J "Skyraider" Skin and Ini Update Pak
-- For FULL-4 Merged SF2 (Prefered) and/or SF2:V =ONLY=!!!
This package contains inis, full skin and decals sets, a few weapons and a complete cockpit, to make the stock AI-only A-1J "Skyraider" flyable. While the cockpit is not 100% correct (or, more truthfully, close), it does have all the gauges working as they would be in a propeller aircraft. Until such time a a proper AD-7/A-1J pit arrives, this WILL have to suffice.
Ini edits include some enhanced AI statements, corrected ammo counts, fuel quantity, on-board countermeasures (chaff and flares for Vietnam era usage) the addition of the running/formation lights on the tail, a landing light, and a working canopy (use Shift/0 to open and close). Wingfold is NOT activated, due to odd movement and placement issues with the outer wing stores locations. At some point in the future, I'll try and get them dailed in properlly, so the wingfold will work and the weapons follow the wing.
A new 300 gallon drop tank has also been included, as the LOD lacks the nodes for built-in drop tanks as seen on other SF2 aircraft (even though called out in the data ini, it just ain't there!). And just for extra added enjoyment, the "Special Weapon", as used by VA-25 is also included. Yup, the world (in)famous Toilet Bomb.
A new SF2-style hangar screen, and a new loading screen are also included. All decals are new, with correct Modex, squadron codes and BuNums. It should be noted, that in Vietnam era squadrons (and possibly before) most Skyraider units used a mix of AD-6/7 (or A-1H/J after 1961), so these may not be fully historical, as the BuNums reflect only the one type (AD-6 or A-1H) per squadron. But the BuNums ARE 100% accurate for the models they indicate; and in the cases where photos or profile were available, the actual aircraft represented.
Skins included in this set are:
VA-25 "Fist of the Fleet", USS Coral Sea, 11/1966
VA-115 "Arabs", USS Kitty Hawk, 3/1966
VA-145 "Swordsmen",USS Intrepid 9/1967
VA-152 "Wild Aces", USS Oriskany, 8/1965
The new "A-1J.INI" has been edited to move these new skins to the top, and the original 3W "USNGray1" and "USAFCAmo1" to the bottom, making it easier to select the USN/USMC marked skins.
As always, READ the enclosed readme for full, detailed instructions. This package has been broken down into the various folders that SF2 needs/requires, to make it a LOT easier to install.

VA-85 "Black Falcons", USS Forrestal, 1962 (also possibly on a Med Cruise)
VA-176 "Thunderbolts", USS Intrepid, Vietnam War (1st SEA cruise, before the famous "bee and lightning bolt" added)
VMA-331 "Killer Bees", circa 1956-59, before transfering to Skyhawks. This one's for Gunny!
The new "A-1H.ini" has been edited to move these new skins to the top, and the original 3W "USNGray1" and "USAFCAmo1" to the bottom, making it easier to select these USN/USMC marked skins.

RDAF Camo SkinPak for F-84G Thunderjet
=For SF2, Any and All (Full-4 Merged Reccomended/Preferred,etc)
A simple reskin/redecaling for the recently released F-84G Upgrade Pak.
This skin represent Euro-style camoflaged Thunderjets of the Royal Danish Air Force. They were painted such (as what little data seems available) during the later years of their service. The skin itself is a repainted/relined version of the 1stGen JRV (Yugoslavian AF) skin by Homer. I just retouched some bits to remove other bits! Full credit goes to him for the skin (wherever he may be).
As always, fairly easy to follow, detailed install instructions are included. So, please read them!!

F-84F "Thunderstreak" Skin and Inis Update Pak
-- For FULL-4 Merged SF2 (Prefered) and/or SF2:E =ONLY!!!=
This ini and skin pak will update your stock F-84F Thunderstreak to a player-flyable aircraft (if you havn't done so already), and adds a new skin representing the 170th TFS, 183rd TFW, Illinois ANG, circa 1961 when the unit was Federalized during the Berlin Crisis.
Also, an update to the stock "USAFSilver1" skin, adding serial and buzz number decals, and repositioning the TAC tail badge. Consider this a 'generic' USAF skin, NOT representing any particular unit. Just 'dressing up' the old girl a little for the dance...
New, updated inis have been included; main, data, loadout and avionics, along with a loadout tga and NEW hangar screen. A radar-ranging gunsight has been added (APG-30), and all the lights have been corrected and expanded, adding the landing/taxi light and formation/ID lights on the vertical stab. The canopy has been activated via a manual animation control keystroke; use shift/0 to open and close.
Other upgrades included "splitting" the inboard stations into 2 groups, allowing for the historic use the Mk.7 nuclear weapon on the left side, and the drop tank on the right. This loadout is NOT set in the loadout ini (standard bombs are), but is available for player selection from the loadout screen when in game. The Mk.7 weapons ARE included, courtesy of one lindr2's weapons paks. They've been converted for SF2 usage. Nuke effects are NOT included. The cockpit is from Zur's F-86s, with my K-14 gunsight.
As always, =READ= the enclosed readme for full, detailed instructions. This package has been broken down into the various folders that SF2 needs, to make it a LOT easier to install. Of course, there's the usual 'Notes" section for explanations, ramblings, and other odd things.

SF2 Korean War Era USAF ANG F-84E Skin Pak
= For SF2, Full-4/5 Merged (Reccomended/Preferred) =
The pak contains 2 new skins for the RussoUK's F-84E, and is designed to be used with my Thunderjet pak found at CA at the following URL:
http://combatace.com/files/file/12300-republic-f-84e-thunderjet-by-russouk-for-sf2/
Skins/decal sets included are for the:
154th FBS, 136th FBW (Arkansas ANG)
159th FBS, 116th FBW (Florida ANG)
All new, 100% historically correct serial and BuzzNumber decals have been created for all skins. Those skins have stars (*) in their number lists next to the ID number, denoting those with 100% positive identification. Those without stars (*) served in the KTO, but I was unable to run down exactly which wing/squadron.
There are only 18 serial/buzz numbers for each aircraft. All decals are Randomized.
Also included is a small update for the 7/8/9th FBS skins; the addition of the squadron patch for the 'paint chip' seen on the Loadout Screen.
As always, fairly easy to follow, fairly detailed install instructions are included. So, please read them.

F-84G Thunderjet, Imperial Iranian Air Force
=For SF2, Any and All (Full-4 Merged Reccomended/Preferred,etc)=
A simple addition for the recently released F-84G Upgrade Pak.
This skin represent all aircraft as used by the IIAF during the 1950s and 60s, until they were replaced by F-5As sometime around 1965ish.
All new historical serial numbers for the 75 aircraft were created, depicting the 3 squadrons of the Wing that operated them from Mehrabad (like, how hard is it to do 3-01 thru 3-75???).
Decal radomization is set to TRUE, so be at whatever patch level is requried (post May/June/whatever!)
As always, fairly easy to follow, detailed install instructions are included. So, please read them!! The expected "Notes" section as well, for those interested.
Happy Landings!

Three skins for ThirdWire's original F-4J from SF2V, showing them as they were painted during the SEA Linebacker campaign in 1972. These are:
VF-31 Tomcatters
VF-92 Silverkings
VF-114 Aardvarks
Original real life Bu. No. from that cruise are included. The MiG Killers among them are:
BuNo 7249 NH206, VF-114, crew Robert Hughes and Adolph Cruz
BuNo 7245 NH201, VF-114, crew Kenneth Pettigrew and Michael McCabe
BuNo 7269 NG211, VF-92, crew Curtis Dose and James McDevitt
BuNo 7307 AC106, VF-31, crew Samuel Flynn and William John
These skins are heavily based on those Ravenclaw_007 did for WoV, e.g.
http://forum.combatace.com/files/file/8226-f-4j-vf-33-tarsiers/
which were again based on Sundowner's famous hi-res template, e.g.
http://www.column5.us/phantoms.htm
Thus big kudos to them!
I just took pieces from both, cleaned them up and made my own templates, modified them and added all bits to fit the mapping of the new meshes from SF2V. Made new decals… et voilà.
Textures are 1024*1024 size.
Installation instructions:

F-86E Sabre, 54th FIS "The Hunters" ver.2.0
- Version 2 for SF2 -
Based on the movie "The Hunters" (as if you didn't know!!!)
A revamp and cleanup of my original "The Hunters" F-86 Sabre skin. This pack WILL replace any eariler version you may have.
While designed for the F-86E, it can be used on any late version (E or F). However, the movie clearly shows the aircraft to be E models (as evidenced by the opening montage, and the all-flying tail, and wing slats). If used on other variants, editing of the decals.ini will be required.
Not much really changed; skins are now jpg format (rebuilt from ravenclaw's SUPERB template), decal randomization is TRUE. The 51st FIW checks are now painted on, and the 'squadron color' zap is a ficitonal white stripe above the checkerboard. Pilot names decals have been moved slightly forward. Also, the 54th is now a Fighter Interceptor Squadron, not a Fighter Interceptor Wing (even though the sign in the movie shows it as a Wing).
Enjoy!
