RNZAF SKYHAWKS;
There is no real A-4K models made so these three use the closest Thirdwire models. These models are for WOX versions of Thirdwire games.
If you have any Thirdwire WOX games and you extract all the required .lod files they will work in SF2 series games. However the SF2 models have been very much updated from WOX versions and look much, much better and have greater detail. Plus I am curtainly working on those SF2 models to bring A-4k's into SF2 series.
These three models all use Truck-Lo's cockpit which is available in the Combat-Ace download section and included, plus can also be modded to use the A-4AR's cockpit as well. I do not know how different the A-4AR's cockpit is from the A-4K's cockpit, but believe to look at they are very similar.
INSTALL;
You just need to copy or drag and drop the aircraft into your Aircraft folders and tanks to be installed in the usual way. Note I do not know who made the green A-4K tank, because it has alway been there in my weapons folder. I think it may have come from Bunyaps Weapons orginally. It is also included in 331Killerbees pack.
I have tinkered with the weapons loadout files a little and they may not be totally correct, feel free to amend if you want. They are set for fun rather that relistic.
First model is A-4K Euro 1 which based on the stock Thirdwire A-4F, RNZAF A-4K's where late model A-4F without the tail top pod. Where originally painted in SEA camo, see A-4K SEA in Combat-Ace downloads which I painted for Truck-Lo. The Euro Camo came later, I cannot remember the date, then another upgrade happened and the hump became reduntant and was removed, I used Thirdwire A-4E, closest match. Then New Zealand brought A-4G from Austrailia sometime after the Austrailan Navy retired its last carrier. On entering service in NZ the A-4G's only had their markings and numbers changed, they remained in the tone grey camo. I've released as SF2 model only, not included here. Later the A-4K's and A-4G's where all upgraded to A-4K Kura, Hawk in English, and where all painted green.
The A-4K Green 1 skin is fictional.I was playing around one wet weekend.
Feel free to mode as you like but must remain Freeware. I have no problems with that and you do not need my permission to change, improve on and release. This is what makes ThirdWire and its Forums so great and helps it to keep going, for over seven years I think I read somewhere.
Thanks to TK, Thirdwire
To Truck-Lo
To Bunyap and 331Killerbee
And to Marcfighters, I used your A-4F Israeli model a lot as reference when I first started painting the SEA Camo. Helped me alot in find those strange parts on the templates.
Ps, there are even more on TK's new models. I think I have found all the hinges now and where they are mapped.
The Harrier GR7 is a license-built American-designed AV-8B Harrier II fitted with RAF-specific navigation and defensive systems as well as other changes including additional underwing pylons for Sidewinder missiles. The improved design of the GR7 allows the aircraft to carry twice the load of a GR3 over the same distance or the same load twice the distance. First flight of the Harrier GR7 was in 1989, and deliveries to RAF squadrons began in 1990. A total of 96 aircraft were ordered, including 62 interim GR5s which were later modified to GR7 standard.
Detailed "readme" file included.
The TIALD pod included in this pack is meant to be used only with this plane.
Just as a reminder, maximum VERTICAL take-off and landIng weight is 18,950 lbs.
If you try to take off vertically with a full load of weapons and fuel, the plane will simply not get airborne and, if you try to land, you'll fall like a brick.
Best vertical landings are performed with a 25% fuel load or less, just experiment to find the right compromise.
Good hunting

AD-4NL Skyraider, Korean War, VC-35
UPDATED to Ver 2 for SF/SFG/WoV/WoE/WoI and SF2 & SF2:V, too
This version is designed to TOTALLY replace the one I released in 2005; a LOT has been updated.
This has a brand new skin, still representing VC-35 "Night Hecklers" during the Korean War, is based off new templates
from Royohboy's AdA Skyraiders, all new decals for modex and semi-historical BuNums. I saw 'semi', as these ARE in
fact, REAL BuNums as assigned by BuAer to AD-4NLs, but I was unable to ascertain exactly which were assigned to
VC-35's aircraft. So, consider them generic AD-4N BuNums.
This is a full, complete add on aircraft mod, with all the goodies necessary. Along with the new skin and decals, there's a
heavily modified/repainted/tweekified A-4E cockpit. (more below in "Notes" on an alternate).
Small data ini edits add a landing light, a few more running lights. Edits to the landing gear make this aircraft fully functional in the post-08 patch world. It should also function pretty well in SF2/SF2:V. This has been tested, and acts just the same in SF2 as is post-patch WoE. It's fully carrier rated, so mission and campaign builders can do their thing.
2 new -only available in this mod!!- carrier deck Hangar Screens are included. Both are the "WoE-style", but for the SF2
series, that one has the blackboard removed. Also, a new damage tga for the 'tail' section has been created.
Designed for use with any weapons pak, the 3 necessary addons, the APS-31 radar pod, AN/ALT-7 ECM pod, a small
50-ish gallon and 300 gallon tank are included. What is NOT included, are the HVARs, 250, 500 and 1000 lb WW2 era
bombs. You WILL need to have these available via one of the existing weapons paks!!!
As always, unzip this to a temp folder somwhere, and you'll have access to the rest of the readme for it's instructions.

North American AT-6G "Mosquito FAC"
for SF/SFG/WoV/WoE/WoI, Post 08 Patch Level and probably SF2/SF2:V
This is a mod of Bunyap's little T-6 Texan trainer into the AT-6G as used during the Korean War as the "Mosquito FAC"
This is a COMPLETE aircraft mod, with all the trimmings. There have been extensive edits to the data, loadout inis and a "new" cockpit. It is designed for use in the post 08 patch envrionments; in fact a couple of edits WON'T work without being in post 08 patch (movable rudder lights, fer example)
It has been totally reskined in a Natural Metal, more of a generic than any particular squadron, with all new Buzz Number and accurate Serial Numbers. I say 'accurate', as they ARE for AT-6G, but not from any particular squadron.
All the weapons supplied have been updated for this late game usage, and are supplied in the new 'folder style'. For SF2/SF2V users, a data ini for each weapon is included in each folder. (note: most of these propably already exist in the SF2 weapons pak. PLEASE check before installing, AND note the T-6_30cal_GunPod has been edited to make the guns shoot in the right direction)
A new blade-type upper antenna, with repositioned pitot tube, and set for use as a 'fake pilot' seat is also included (thanks to Ravenclaw!!). This is also usable for other nations that used the AT-6G in the COIN or FAC roles. New Hangar Screen, in the WoE style, allowing it's use in all the Classic Series and SF2/2:V and a new Loading Screen are also provided.
As always, unzip this to a temp folder somwhere, and you'll have access to the rest of the readme for it's instructions.
Enjoy!

This is currently an AI only plane, I will say it again, this is currently an AI only plane as we didn't have a finished enough pit to include it. Having said that, you all know in Knowledge Base it tells you how to make AI planes flyable. If you go to the forum and say you can't fly it because you didn't read this readme. I will clown you hard and may not even be nice.

That link above will tell you how to make AI planes flyable.
Knowing you all will make it flyable, here are the known issues:
There are so many loadout combination that we went basic but we did our best to get many things to work. Your milage may very.
We did our best. Enjoy.

AD-4 Skyraider, Korean War Era, Ver. 2
for SF/SFG/WoV/WoE/WoI and possibly SF2 & SF2:V
Updated to Version 2, Uploaded 5/20/09
Modifications and reskins for MontyCZ's A-1H to create the eariler AD-4 Skyraider, as used during the Korean War.
This version is designed to TOTALLY replace the one I released in 2005; a LOT has been updated. It is also designed for use in a Korean War Era install -- although it's quite workable in any era up to 1956, when the US Navy changed the color scheme.
It is also redesigned for use in the post-08 patch environment of the above mentioned games. Instructions for back-dating to 06 levels are in the "Notes" section below.
There are 2 brand new skins, still representing VF-194 and VMA-121, during the Korean War, but based off new templates, with some enhancements from Royohboy's AdA Skyraiders, all new decals for modex and semi-historical BuNums. I say 'semi', as these ARE in fact, REAL BuNums as assigned by BuAer to AD-3/4s, but I was unable to ascertain exactly which were assigned to each squadron's aircraft. So, consider them as rather generic AD-3/4 BuNums, but accurate nonetheless.
NOTE: these skins are also designed to REPLACE any earlier versions!!!
The VF-194 skin is a redo of that from the original release, with all new decals. The VMA-121 skin bmps are new, and also gets all new decals. I believe the original skin/decal set was done by Volksjager.
For those that might be wondering, yes, there are 2 more skins in the works....
This is a full, complete add on aircraft mod, with all the goodies necessary. Along with the new skins and decals, there's a heavily modified/repainted/tweekificateded A-4E cockpit. (more below in "Notes" on an alternate for those that wish a more beautiful, functional and fantastic cockpit). My old 'artwork' style Korean AD Hangar Screen is included; all the artwork was done by the legendary R.G. Smith, who worked for Douglas, and was more or less the Official Company Artist.
Small data ini edits add a landing light, a few more running lights. Edits to the landing gear make this aircraft fully functional in the post-08 patch world. It should also function pretty well in SF2/SF2:V. This has not been tested by me however, as I don't have either of them yet. It's fully carrier rated, so mission and campaign builders can do their thing. Once we get the new Korea map....
Designed for use with any weapons pak, the 2 necessary addons, the AN/APS-4 radar pod and 300 gallon tank are included. What is NOT included, are the HVARs, 250, 500 and 1000 lb WW2 era bombs. You WILL need to have these available via one of the weapons paks. However, a "new" weapons has been added - the 260 lb AN-M81 Fragmentation Bomb as used by the Navy. Expeciallly usefull for those pesky CAS, Armed Recon and SEAD mission (and historically used by Panthers in the flak suppression roles)
As always, unzip this to a temp folder somwhere, and you'll have access to the rest of the readme for it's instructions.
Good Hunting!
