New joinee question

new joiner here. I have the complete SF2 set. However when i try to download any mod it shows not permitted. Is there any way to activate?

You have to post two times within 45 days, and have an account for 30 days or more to be allowed to download once a day. It's Erik's rules to thwart people abusing the prior system, though i believe if you get a subscription you can have better access to downloads.

I'm curious wondering if it doesn't say anything to that effect (downloads are by subscription and community involvement) anywhere on the "sign up sheet" when a new member joins.

Welcome to the wild and wacky family that is CA, my best advice is to take out a subscription, even if only for a month, then yyou can downlaod and be as happy as a piggy in poop

Yeah I think he should put that up, and like a button for acknowledging it or something, so they have to read it, and so on.

If you get a subscription the the possibilities are endless.  You'll enjoy SF2 much more.

not meaning to be rude or a dick, but also thank you for being the first publicly visible trial of the new system. once your 30 days are up im sure you will enjoy it much more (hey, i know watchin aint as fun as playin)

alternately, theres no limit on subscription downloads. even the 2 day $6.95 version. so you could make a list, pay the cost of a coffee or lunch, and spend the net 48 hours getting what you want w/o the wait
