eldaridat22 Posted yesterday at 02:15 PM Posted yesterday at 02:15 PM This is a continuation of my previous post "SF2V Air & Ground war expansion help" ive managed to get the campaigns available and working, but I haven't managed to get flyable B-52s. They seem to be flyable, having a cockpit .ini file and stuff, but I can't find them in single mission or campaign. Can anyone assist me in this matter? Thank you in advance. I'm sorry if I seem like an idiot, but please help.

DoctorQuest Posted yesterday at 04:26 PM Posted yesterday at 04:26 PM (edited) Agree that you should not have to muck with campaign settings to fly single missions................ Can you see any of the other add-on aircraft from the mod? C-130, A-6, etc.? Edited yesterday at 04:27 PM by DoctorQuest Missed a bit

daddyairplanes Posted 23 hours ago Posted 23 hours ago check if the B-52s in that install have cockpits many mega installs (like this or ODS30AE) leave the large aircraft (including the B-52) non flyable by removing the cockpit. they are still available in teh campaign to escort or intercept, just not for you to fly
DoctorQuest Posted 22 hours ago Posted 22 hours ago (edited) Yeah. I just installed the mod and I am not seeing cockpit files for any of the B-52 models. I do see a bunch of other flyable aircraft. I think daddyairplanes nailed it. The modders may just have decided to leave the B-52s as AI only. I have not made the effort myself but you could certainly poke around the various B-52 downloads. I think someone made a stand-in B-52 cockpit to at least make it flyable. Edited 22 hours ago by DoctorQuest Learning to spell...........................
DoctorQuest Posted 22 hours ago Posted 22 hours ago Try downloading this BUFF and copying its cockpit over................ I have not tried it myself yet. Good luck!
Wrench Posted 21 hours ago Posted 21 hours ago Not reccommened to the fly the bombers ... they cause all sorts of issues with the game engine itself. Just ask the (few remaining) WW2 players. Not only will you NOT get the proper formations, there's no bombsight (52s used radar only - I had a cousin who's job that wes), and giving orders to wingmates will crash the game. Leave as issued; it's always done for a reason 2
daddyairplanes Posted 20 hours ago Posted 20 hours ago (edited) IF youre gonna load a pit however..... use one of the ones from my B-52D Pacer Plank or B-52F mods no EVS screens or other Modern cockpit toys like the suggested mod above and mine are set for the TW stock B-52 airframe, while the modern ones are set for wpnssgt's third part models. eldaridat22 Posted 13 hours ago Author Posted 13 hours ago Okay guys, I appreciate the help. I'm at school right now. I'll do something about it when I'm home.
