That's just impossible!

As I mentioned before, I have a very old PC that’s still running Windows XP. As a result, it only supports ancient versions of archivers. If even my 7-Zip and WinRAR extractors can handle this package of three downloads without any issues, what can we say about more modern and high-spec PCs?

I only received the “files are corrupted” message when I tried to extract the files individually, or when I tried to extract the first two files without the third one.

Of course it's possible.
This has nothing to do with PC performance.
Something is causing the files to become corrupted for some users, while it works for others.
I've tried everything—always downloading the three files to the same folder—and no matter if I try to extract them using WinRAR or 7-Zip, I get a message saying file 001 is corrupted.
I've re-downloaded them several times, but it makes no difference.
It would be much easier if the files were re-uploaded as three separate, independent ZIP archives.

so i just downloaded this and unzipped

i agree that it probably should be one big if youre only unzipping one file

i also agree the files as they show in teh download file fresh from the site all say "file name version 1.0". you dont actually see which part (1,2,or3) youre unzipping until you do it.

part 2 and 3 come back with issues in 7zip.  part 1 does unzip properly with 7-zip however..  then end file folder being 3.3GB

so far on a casual glance it seems to be very good. the manual is one of teh most detailed "Readme" docs i recall seeing and i can see ravenclaws influence in teh model

looking forward to taking her zipping through the fjords....

As I understand it, he wasn't talking about his PC's performance, but rather whether the software meets modern requirements.

Otherwise, you're probably right. There are many inexplicable quirks in how our machines operate. For instance, I never managed to extract the F-35 archive (which I downloaded three times!) on any of my devices; I kept getting an "insufficient memory" error, even though I have plenty of memory and the latest versions of extraction software installed. Gremlins, nothing else! 🤣

An update will come after the complete HAF F-5A package which is currently in the "factory". It will be in separate set of files like the HAF F-16's.

I have to disagree Daddyairplanes .. the download page clearly shows 1, 2, and 3 ..

However, some people are having genuine problems .. I'll see If there's another way ..

Thanks for the kind words; in truth, Ravenclaw_007 has alway's been my hero and inspiration .. and he helped tremendously in getting the Freedom Fighter into SF2.

the download page does show it. however it was not as clear in my download folder afterwards

this might be what is causing confusion. there isnt a difference until I run 7zip, then it states 1 2 or 3

i personally didnt have a real issue. i did watch a little closer that normal because of the comentary, but I got it working just fine. i can see where others might have issue tho
