+Dave Posted August 3, 2007 Posted August 3, 2007 Well we found the max file for the XL and Dels out of the goodness of his heart agreed to fix the issues with it. He fixed the mapping on the wings, (you can see by the top view of this how he fixed the mapping.) He fixed the centerline pylon to keep the nose gear from interfering with the drop tank. He fixed the parachute housing to make it more smooth. He mapped the nozzle to a much much better looking one than before. He also fixed the nose on it too. Creepin' Death is updating the skins so look for it sometime this weekend, god willing and the water don't rise. It's a much better plane than before. I can not thank him enough for taking this on. But we are not done. We have a surprise coming in the future. It will be ready in the standard "2 weeks". Once again Dels many thanks for your 3dmax skills on this. Quote
+NeverEnough Posted August 3, 2007 Posted August 3, 2007 Thank you Dels, and thanks to USAFMTL and friends for all the work bringing this bird back from oblivion! Quote

serverandenforcer Posted August 20, 2007 Posted August 20, 2007 So what kept this beauty from going into production in the real world? Don't know the history on it. Quote
FalconC45 Posted August 20, 2007 Posted August 20, 2007 So what kept this beauty from going into production in the real world? Don't know the history on it. Basically it got beat by the F-15E on a fly off by the USAF for a new strike fighter. Falcon Quote
