RedBladeHR Posted January 9, 2008 Posted January 9, 2008 Heh, that chinese aircrafts reminds me to AC3... heh... Quote
JediMaster Posted January 9, 2008 Posted January 9, 2008 That B-17 edit looked like something from Weekly World News! That or Burt Rutan's redesign. Quote
Rambler 1-1 Posted February 2, 2008 Posted February 2, 2008 why do all these chinese planes look like the messed up "made-in-china" toys they sell at the dollar store? is it possible that these are not designs for advanced chinese aircraft, but designs for toys intended to capitalize on the current stealth fighter craze so that the manufacturing companies don't have to seek permission from lockheed and the USAF to make toy F-22s and -35s? Maybe the chinese government just happened to have somebody see these in their proposed design folders, and paranoia and the media has expanded the belief that these are actually going to be fighters. if you look, those pictures look like they're right off some cheap snap-together model boxes. either that, or the chinese have a heck of a lot to spend on copycat designs for fighters. maverickHR Posted February 2, 2008 Posted February 2, 2008 These would be cool to see. ace combat- belkan war. this first plane, is that plane thing that wanth to kill me with laser gun? good plane, bad pilot, I shot i down with mig-21. Quote
JediMaster Posted February 4, 2008 Posted February 4, 2008 Yet another plane designed by someone who was thinking "cool" and not "would this thing actually work?" Guess they don't need any fuel or armament, and let's not even talk about those improbable wings. Someone ever think of trying that in a wind tunnel? Not hardly... Quote
Guest Bounder Posted February 4, 2008 Posted February 4, 2008 (edited) The top one is merely a photoshopped F-22A! Its a proposed bomber variant of the F-22 was never accepted ,but the "lil wings are photoshopped. heres the final version http://www.globalsecurity.org/military/sys...craft/fb-22.htm http://www.globalsecurity.org/org/news/200...usaf-bomber.htm http://www.popsci.com/military-aviation-sp.../smarter-bomber Edited February 4, 2008 by Bounder Quote

the test pilot Posted February 5, 2008 Posted February 5, 2008 i like very much the idea of the ace combat-like aircrafts and, by the way, if someone don't thinks out-of-schemes, what will happen to the evolution? impossible, but it could get a chance anyway Quote

+76.IAP-Blackbird Posted February 22, 2008 Author Posted February 22, 2008 A F-5 as a two seater would be cool but not like a T-38 more like a Hunter side by side Quote

TX3RN0BILL Posted February 22, 2008 Posted February 22, 2008 (edited) A F-5 as a two seater would be cool but not like a T-38 more like a Hunter side by side You mean something like the Platytiger.. err... yeah, that was it... ?!?!? Edit: No, wait, better call it Platypussycat... or Fullback-T?? Edited February 22, 2008 by TX3RN0BILL Quote
+76.IAP-Blackbird Posted February 22, 2008 Author Posted February 22, 2008 platypussycat sounds good! Quote
JediMaster Posted February 25, 2008 Posted February 25, 2008 [Tom Jones] Platypussycat? Whoa, whoa-whoa... Platypussycat? Whoa, whoa-whoa... [/Tom Jones] I don't know, that sounds wierd. Besides, the T-38 is narrow, the widening you'd need to do to make a side-by-side cockpit would totally alter the lines. Quote
+76.IAP-Blackbird Posted February 27, 2008 Author Posted February 27, 2008 when you ad 2 more powerfull engines to the plane enlarge the body and put a side by side pit on it coul look damn good .. a side by side F-20 Trainer. Quote
JediMaster Posted February 27, 2008 Posted February 27, 2008 Take out the "side by side" pit and you've got the F/A-18 Hornet, the real scaled-up F-5. Quote
+76.IAP-Blackbird Posted March 6, 2008 Author Posted March 6, 2008 Never heard about the T Hunter with a side be side pit?! Quote
Talos Posted March 7, 2008 Posted March 7, 2008 I think he means the training versions of the Hawker Hunter, which do indeed have side-by-side seating. Quote
