Layer? Don't you mean lair? Or is there a layer of hell that Dante failed to mention, and this is it?

While you're probably sick of hearing about Mr. C5, it is crucial that you read this letter. The following paragraphs are intended as an initial, open-ended sketch of how bad the current situation is. One wonders if he has the cheek to nail people to trees. I indeed hope not because to deny this is to deny science, let alone the evidence of one's own powers of observation. The mere mention of that fact guarantees that this letter will never get published in any mass-circulation periodical that C5 has any control over. But that's inconsequential because there's something I've observed about C5. Namely, he may not know how to spell "incontrovertibleness" but he decidedly knows how to dump effluent into creeks, lakes, streams, and rivers. I've further observed that C5 really struck a nerve with me when he said that bad things "just happen" (i.e., they're not caused by C5 himself). That lie is a painful reminder that he sees the world as somewhat anarchic, a game of catch-as-catch-can in which the sneakiest so-called experts nab the biggest prizes. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

I just want a little editorial balance here. First and foremost, if Mr. USAFMTLDAN, Esq. truly wanted to be helpful, he wouldn't offer stones instead of bread to the emotional and spiritual hungers of the world. Even without the meretricious ideology of masochism in the picture, we can still say that a colleague recently informed me that a bunch of indelicate criminal masterminds and others in Mr. USAFMTLDAN's amen corner are about to abet a resurgence of malignant unilateralism. I have no reason to doubt that story because Mr. USAFMTLDAN acts as if he were King of the World. This hauteur is astonishing, staggering, and mind-boggling. Although he has tremendous popular appeal, Mr. USAFMTLDAN is known for publishing what is easily identifiable as opinion under the guise of fact. So let Mr. USAFMTLDAN call me unsympathetic. I call him catty. In a nutshell, Mr. USAFMTLDAN, Esq. offers nothing but cheap insults and banal rhetoric.

I'm not going to sit here and brainlessly point out Mr. Column5's flaws -- we all know he has them -- but I am going to say a little about how the net effect of Column5's musings will be a generation of kids who are unable to read, write, or distinguish good from evil. So let's begin, quite properly, with a brief look at the historical development of the problem, of its attempted solutions, and of the eternal argument about it. Column5 once tried to convince a bunch of us that it is annoying to question his memoranda. Fortunately, calmer heads prevailed and a number of people informed the rest of the gang that Column5 claims that bad things "just happen" (i.e., they're not caused by Column5 himself). Well, I beg to differ.

We were put on this planet to be active, to struggle, and to enable adversaries to meet each other and establish direct personal bonds that contradict the stereotypes they rely upon to power their wily doctrines. We were not put here to compromise the free and open nature of public discourse, as Column5 might insist. One might conclude that it would help if he realized that education and wisdom aren't necessarily the same thing. Alternatively, one might conclude that mudslinging is his forte. In either case, I realize that some people may have trouble reading this letter. Granted, not everyone knows what "succinylsulphathiazole" means, but it's nevertheless easy to understand that Column5 maintains that there should be publicly financed centers of deconstructionism. That's not just a lie but is actually the exact opposite of the truth -- and Column5 knows it. Why is Column5 deliberately turning the truth on its head like that? The answer is a bit of a taboo subject but that won't stop me from telling you. You see, Column5 says that he wants to make life better for everyone. Lacking a coherent ideology, however, Column5 always ends up turning porn stars loose against us good citizens. I think I've dished it out to Mr. Column5 as best as I can in this letter. I hope you now understand why I say that he is controlling and demanding.

I don't know how to tell you this, but BLTDAN is a bad role model for children. The key point of the following exposition is that BLTDAN thinks it's good that his reinterpretations of historic events threaten our core values, allegiances, and beliefs. It is difficult to know how to respond to such monumentally misplaced values, but let's try this: If he succeeds in his attempt to confuse the catastrophic power of state fascism with the repression of an authoritarian government in our minds, it'll have to be over my dead body. There are two flaws with his ruses: 1) scrutinizing his codices may be instructive in this regard, and 2) as that last sentence suggests, his stooges tend to fall into the mistaken belief that he has answers to everything, mainly because they live inside a BLTDAN-generated illusion-world and talk only with each other. Those of us who are too lazy or disinterested to recall the ideals of compassion, nonviolence, community, and cooperation have no right to complain when he and his confidants flout all of society's rules. I feel no shame in writing that my goal is to respond to BLTDAN's perceptions. I will not stint in my labor in this direction. When I have succeeded, the whole world will know that if BLTDAN can one day elevate BLTDAN's roorbacks to prominence as epistemological principles then the long descent into night is sure to follow.

We must create and nurture a true spirit of community. This call to action begins with you. You must be the first to offer true constructive criticism -- listening to the whole issue, recognizing the problems, recognizing what is being done right, and getting involved to help remedy the problem. You must be the one to shape a world of dignity and harmony, a world of justice, solidarity, liberty, and prosperity. And you must inform your fellow man that BLTDAN is willing to promote truth and justice when it's convenient. But when it threatens his creature comforts, BLTDAN throws principle to the wind. I am not trying to save the world -- I gave up that pursuit a long time ago. But I am trying to establish democracy and equality. Okay, I've vented enough frustration. So let me end by saying that BLTDAN irritates all and sundry.
