Recommended Posts

I think I'm pretty darn good at formation flying, so I decided to do some wing walkin', Junkers style!

On that last photo I was less than 3 inches from hitting his wire thingy, literally. I held that for 30 seconds and never hit it. Finally I got sick of holding that steady and broke away, still never hitting it.

Is that even from a Third Wire game? It looks more like Il-2  ...although I know that the A-Team made the Junkers.

Right you are, the range is the only place I can practice close formation without a Mig killing us bolth. BTW, I love the Junkers 52 :kudos: . Such a stable and well behaved aircraft.

Ah, no wonder I thought it was Il-2, I have less than an hour of time on The Range, GermanyCE is my range.

I should try that, but since it's AI, I can't afford any sudden moves. In the Junkers I bet I could do it, but it'd take a lot of practice to do that in a 104.

Oh, guys, feel free to post your own close formation screen shots. It's always fun to have a little pow-wow with the guys to check up on each others skills.

More from my computer which I have recently given the title(I parodied it from MASH's "Yankee Doodle Doctor"): "Hangar of the Yankee Doodle Death Machine"

This time in what IMO would make a great civilian jet trainer and civilian personal jet(REMOVE EJECTION SEATS OF COURSE!!!) the T-37 Tweet.

"I can see pagoda masts. I see the biggest meatball flag on the biggest battleship I ever saw!"---Ensign William C. Brooks, the first to report the sighting of the Japanese fleet during The Battle off Samar, a skirmish fought during the Battle of the Philippine Sea.

Well, I can't see any pagoda masts, and I certainly can't see any meatball, but I can tell by the look on my wing man's gunner's face that I'm going to have a hell of a time explaining this...
