Morris Posted April 17, 2010 Posted April 17, 2010 Dear MikeDixonUk, Yes you have to keep a cool head during that battle or go home in a box. m
+Olham Posted April 19, 2010 Posted April 19, 2010 Carrick, is your SIMULATION PAUSED permanent, or does it blink on and off? If it blinks, you could press "screenshot" in a moment, when it's off.
carrick58 Posted April 19, 2010 Posted April 19, 2010 ahhhhhhhhhhh I think it blinks. Thanks Olham , I will give a try tonight
Barkhorn1x Posted April 21, 2010 Posted April 21, 2010 (edited) Hello all - finally got my internet access on my new box - yayyy!!!! To celebrate I thought I would share some shots of skins given to me our very talented skinners. First Olham's handsome Jasta 5 DVa. And then my modded version that I "Irished" up a bit. Edited April 21, 2010 by Barkhorn1x
Barkhorn1x Posted April 21, 2010 Posted April 21, 2010 (edited) Next up is a cool series by our very own UK Widowmaker - adding the Ryan family coat of arms. Thanks guys, I really appreciate your efforts. Edited April 21, 2010 by Barkhorn1x
+Olham Posted April 21, 2010 Posted April 21, 2010 Well, to be precise, the D Va skin is done by Paarma or OvS, and me. I would have had a lot of extra trouble, if I had had to find out the red outline on the tail myself. The addition of a personal emblem is exactly, what everyone could do to the uploaded skins - looks great. This one isn't there yet. I'll upload some, when my "hard work phase" will be over; in about two weeks. Great you can enjoy the sim and skins again now, Barkhorn!
UK_Widowmaker Posted April 21, 2010 Posted April 21, 2010 (edited) Glad you're enjoying it Barkhorn, and thanks for posting. Nice to know that our attempts are enjoyed by our fellow Flyers...it's nice to have a personalised plane (thats why I started this time consuming Hobby...it all started from a Skull and Crossbones....lol).....and of course, as Olham points out...these aircraft are all OBD skins...but 'Built under Licence' as they say?! Olham....Yes, the red line on the Tails...really impressive job by the OBD guys...I wouldn't even attempt it personally...but it does make te Alb look nice Edited April 21, 2010 by UK_Widowmaker
Barkhorn1x Posted April 21, 2010 Posted April 21, 2010 (edited) Yes, we should credit the original skin artists - and rightfully so. Edited April 21, 2010 by Barkhorn1x
+Olham Posted April 21, 2010 Posted April 21, 2010 Volodnikov, it's a great shot - and it would be even greater, if you had waited, until the blinking SIMULATION PAUSED had been "off".
Morris Posted April 22, 2010 Posted April 22, 2010 Volodnikov, I love ur screenshot. Great work and please send more. morris
Volodnikov Posted April 22, 2010 Posted April 22, 2010 Thanks guys, I'll try to take some more exciting ones...and I'll make sure to do it when "simulation paused" isn't visible
+Olham Posted April 22, 2010 Posted April 22, 2010 You could also import them into a program like Photoshop or Paint, and cut the top and bottom off, to get a "Cinemascope" kind of screenshot.
Scouseair68 Posted April 23, 2010 Posted April 23, 2010 Aye, great shot Volo. And of a little "photographed" aircraft. Love the D7 skin Widow/OBD
UK_Widowmaker Posted April 23, 2010 Posted April 23, 2010 I agree, that's a really good screenshot.....and like Scouseair has said, I don't think we have seen that aircraft in a shot before? So, come on lads...lets get some shots up of the lesser known aircraft?...Always nice to see new things
carrick58 Posted April 25, 2010 Posted April 25, 2010 ha ha, I know I broke my off so will be down for awhile
shredward Posted April 26, 2010 Posted April 26, 2010 And your Strutter. It's now a Sopwith 1 1/2 Wing.
UK_Widowmaker Posted April 26, 2010 Posted April 26, 2010 Heading out on a Two Man Patrol...wonder what today will bring...victory?....or a ghastly Death?
Morris Posted April 26, 2010 Posted April 26, 2010 Great Screenshot UK_Widowmaker, I have been shooting down plenty of those pretty pups. m
