Yeah, we were sort of looking for a Mirage IIIRP recon bird for the India-Pakistan conflict.

The nose radome can be eliminated and a new recon nose added on - can anyone provide a nice profile drawing of this recon nose?

Thanks,

76.IAP-Blackbird: The former would be the better description. In fact they're just learning a thing or two from the RF-4Cs/RF-4Es of that period.

I think this is the type of nose that the guys are actually looking for, Mirage 3R or Mirage 3RD type noses.

This Mirage 3RZ is the South African designation for the Mirage 3RD

NOt sure of any blue scheme. In the 1965 & 71 wars, all PAF F-86Fs flew with their bare metal scheme. The PAF acquired ex-Luftwaffe Sabre Mk.6s after the 1965 war, They sported grey/green camo. SOme F-86Fs had brown patterns painted on them in the 1971 war.

It may have. But no records suggest that F-86s flew in that particular scheme during the wars.

BTW, is thar Mirage III in the background an "E" with e PAF skin?

Did any of these recon Mirages ever appear for download? I thought perhaps I missed them.

Thanks,
