MAKO69 186 Posted May 5, 2009 I like very little metal because while I enjoy the music, what some of the groups call "singing" irritates me. Many of the groups listed here like Judas Priest, AC/DC, Black Sabbath, and Metallica I like well enough, but when the guy is more screaming than singing I turn it off. I am not a fan of the screamers either.

GreyCap 0 Posted May 5, 2009 Oh man that is too funny I watched that about 2 weeks ago, put it on 11 its louder than 10. The guy on the left does voices for the Simpsons. Marty reading review: "This tasteless cover is a good indication of the lack of musical invention within. The musical growth of this band cannot even be charted. They are treading water in a sea of retarded sexuality and bad poetry." Nigel: That's just nitpicking, isn't it? JediMaster 451 Posted May 6, 2009 Most of Metallica and Nirvana's songs aren't screamed but sung.
Syrinx 13 Posted May 6, 2009 I love Nirvana but wouldn't class them as metal. I'm not into the screamers and grunters either. AC\DC I do like, early stuff preferably. I love Bon Scott's vocals (RIP). Oddly though I do have a soft spot for Motorhead, some might say Lemmy is a grunter, to me he's just unique. I like the Foo's, some of Metallica. I also quite like Blue Oyster Cult. Lynryd Skynyrd I find excellent, but don't really fit into this category but they get a mention for being superb. Lots of people have told me to listen to Rush, I've only heard a few of their songs but what I have heard I like.
