column5 Posted July 9, 2009 Posted July 9, 2009 Funny WoE saves .bmps in the screeenshot folder for me. But I did notice the enbseries screenshots. In SF2 series you can select BMP, JPG and one other format...PNG I think. Quote
+Spectre_USA Posted July 9, 2009 Posted July 9, 2009 Rog on the PNG. Been doing JPGs for a while now with FRAPS. PNGs are a bit smaller, and a tiny bit better, clarity-wise. Quote
EricJ Posted July 9, 2009 Posted July 9, 2009 Regardless I got it working in SF2:E and it's nice Quote
zmatt Posted July 9, 2009 Posted July 9, 2009 PNGs have several distinct advantages over .jpgs. Most of them don't make a difference for screenshots though. Quote
Canadair Posted July 9, 2009 Posted July 9, 2009 (edited) Remember guys, this is really only recommended for people with video cards from 2008 or newer, and with Vista or better installed. If you don't meet those two requirements don't be suprised if your performance is lower then the previous enbseries .dll. I wish it worked for me. With Vista 32 and Nvidia 9600 GT and latest drivers for my HP Dv7 laptop with this lates DLL I get: -CTD with the standard autogenrated embseries. -A white Screen with zmatt settings I acquired pureblue's and Stratos' files and will try what happen As a note. There are TWO embseries autogenerated, one in ROOT directory, one in FLIGHT directory. The active one is in FLIGHT directory I think EDIT: I discovered that this NEW dll does not like combined AA on my system, which was my previous setting. With multisampling AA it works perfectly with Zmatt's settings, but I guess will work with the others as well. I like Zmatt's though so far. the question now is evaluating the tradeoff between 16X AA multisampling and the 8Xsq I was using. Edited July 9, 2009 by Canadair Quote

zmatt Posted July 15, 2009 Posted July 15, 2009 To make things easier on everyone I'm thinking I may just upload my latest personal tweak of the .ini with the .dll and a readme on how to use it. That should make everyone's life easier. The way things are now the information is a bit convoluted and in different spots. Quote

zmatt Posted July 17, 2009 Posted July 17, 2009 I'm putting together the readme for the upload. Can someone tell me the file path for installing in Windows XP SF2? I have Vista/7 for SF2 covered and SF1. Quote
AGOSTINO Posted July 18, 2009 Posted July 18, 2009 I wanted to know, if with the "HDR plugin", is a good idea to also use "nHancer", or change the settings in the "NVIDIA Control Panel"?? Possibly what settings for: 1) nHancer: ?? and/or 2) Manage 3d settings (Nvidia control panel): ?? Quote

I have an ATI card and I don't use nHancer so I can't tell you the specifics but, I have different profiles set up in Catalyst Control center. I have one for WoX, one for HL2 and one for everything else. I enable the one I want based on the game I play just like nHancer. If anyone can point me to some Nvidia control panel documentation online I can add a section in the readme on how to do this for both ati and nvidia cards. Quote
AGOSTINO Posted July 18, 2009 Posted July 18, 2009 Excuse me, zmatt!! I have some doubts about, how to install the "EMBserie_for_MSFS", in SF2 on Vista Home Premium!! I must: 1) Unzip the "EMBserie_for_MSFS" on my desktop. 2) Put the d3d9.dll in: (C:\Users\AGOSTINO\Saved Games\ThirdWire\StrikeFighters2\Flight\d3d9.dll) 3) Put the enbseries.ini in: (C:\Users\AGOSTINO\Saved Games\ThirdWire\StrikeFighters2\Flight\enbseries.ini) This is what I do?? I have seen where the game will overwrite the .ini and make it's own truncated one. re-copy the one form the zip there and then make it read only. Quote
