I like the sports area at the stern for shipboard recreational activities during the cruise. Good for tennis, basketball or five-a-side football (soccer to you yanks), but they need some nets!

Does anyone know what the mission tasking is for this beauty? I would withhold judgement on the looks of a modern ship until we see how she fights. The Thud wasn't pretty, but, as I recall, she fought well...........

It's unconventional and therefore I like it - although the "90's cheesy slab-stealth look" would definitely look meaner if it were painted black...

basically its just a new name for a Frigate or Corvette operating in close to the shoreline.

 

I suspect that its a way over-priced, gold-plated high tech replacement for what we really need; a simple basic FFG hull that can fielded with various mission specific modules. Kind of like the FFG-7 class........
