I'm working on the wrong contract............ Yes, but you gotta acknowledge it´s a nice paintjob Som people could pay the same for a bunch of paints, but this is nice, scary, kills people... (please, no jokes about russian made aircraft killing more of its crews than its enemies, that´s just disgusting) Edited October 25, 2009 by macelena Quote
Abhi Posted October 25, 2009 Posted October 25, 2009 the russians are cash crunched, they will now sell weapons to everyone, even USA. Quote
JediMaster Posted October 26, 2009 Posted October 26, 2009 So, that one Mi-35 cost as much as TWO F-22s?!?! Quote
shotdown Posted October 26, 2009 Posted October 26, 2009 So, that one Mi-35 cost as much as TWO F-22s?!?! Of course it does. Mi-35 has VTOL capability, something F-22 lacks. Quote
Silverbolt Posted October 26, 2009 Author Posted October 26, 2009 (edited) DARN YOU GUYS:rofl: 12 Hinds for 300 million( and its overpriced i think) Edited October 26, 2009 by Silverbolt Quote
Gr.Viper Posted October 26, 2009 Posted October 26, 2009 Of course it does. Mi-35 has VTOL capability, something F-22 lacks. Hind can serve as troop carrier too. Quote
+Typhoid Posted October 26, 2009 Posted October 26, 2009 DARN YOU GUYS:rofl: 12 Hinds for 300 million( and its overpriced i think) well, at least its getting a bit more in the ballpark for deployed air combat capabilities. 25mil to include a support package is actually not bad. IF that includes the purchase of the aircraft. if that 300mil only includes paint and training - someone (the US taxpayers) have been ripped off yet again. Heck, if the US taxpayers shelled out 300 mil for you all to buy Russian aircraft - we still got ripped off!! Quote
Derk Posted October 26, 2009 Posted October 26, 2009 What's the cost of the paint training ? Hou doe, Derk Quote
Silverbolt Posted October 27, 2009 Author Posted October 27, 2009 (edited) Priceless eh, not really, 300 million is the cost of training, support and 12 new Mi-35. Edited October 27, 2009 by Silverbolt Quote
Gr.Viper Posted October 27, 2009 Posted October 27, 2009 But they have 3 gear legs to support them! You HAVE been ripped off! I see these Hinds are not shielded against IR missiles (exhausts are open). Stingers are not expected? Quote
SUICIDAL Posted October 27, 2009 Posted October 27, 2009 Were used to support Army troops to hunt down drug dealers. Brazil borders Colombia, Venezuela, Guyana, Suriname and French Guiana on the south by Argentina, Uruguay and Paraguay on the east by the Atlantic Ocean and west by Bolivia and Peru. And get along with all its neighbors. The only ones who can challenge them is Venezuela. Who has massive capacity to guide portable IR missiles. But they are very good friends. Quote

Silverbolt Posted October 27, 2009 Author Posted October 27, 2009 But they are very good friends. let's say we're just fine even if half or our parlament want kick chavez out of Venezuela for non-democratic reasons, even if themselves promove anti-democratic policy inside Brazil Quote
