+daddyairplanes Posted November 28, 2009 Posted November 28, 2009 even tho its for SF2I do you think itll work on a stand alone instal of SF2E? Quote
FastCargo Posted November 28, 2009 Posted November 28, 2009 (edited) I very seriously doubt it. Also, I'm pretty sure the patch will do a CRC check and not patch your SF2E install anyway. And besides, why take that risk? FC Edited November 28, 2009 by FastCargo Quote
+daddyairplanes Posted November 28, 2009 Posted November 28, 2009 (edited) ok then if it would have brought some improvement cool but if not no worries thanks Edited November 28, 2009 by daddyairplanes Quote
Gr.Viper Posted November 28, 2009 Posted November 28, 2009 TK did some job on comm splicing. I've heard "Break, he's firing!" and "He's firing!" without "a missile". Quote

Another cool thing is if you have subtitles on you can see that the com is collor coded now. Red is directly for you, yellow for your wingman and blue is background chatter. Quote
MigBuster Posted November 28, 2009 Posted November 28, 2009 This has fixed some stutter issues as well i hope: This Update is for Strike Fighters 2 Israel - stand-alone or merged to other Strike Fighters 2 games. This Update contains all the fixes from previous patches, and it can be applied to any version of the game. Earlier patches do not need to be applied. Nov 2009-B ---------- * Speech subtitle is now color coded - red indicates warning against the player, yellow indicates other speeches to/from player's flight, and blue indicates all other radio chatter. * Less messages are displayed when HUD option is set at Hard setting. * Overcast sky is rendered correctly in cockpit mirror. * Reduced some graphical artifacts showing on horizon with Effects setting at Unlimited. * V-sync is enabled by default in DX10 mode. * Full-screen anti-alisasing now defaults to a lower-quality (and better performance) setting. * Version number displaying incorrectly on the Main Screen is fixed. Gr.Viper Posted November 28, 2009 Posted November 28, 2009 * Less messages are displayed when HUD option is set at Hard setting. i.e. all gear, flaps, hook, brakes, visual lock messages are gone :) PITA for some planes that don't have a backup indicator on the instrument panel. Quote
MigBuster Posted November 28, 2009 Posted November 28, 2009 Yep includes ecm on/off weapons select/message/targetting/ - thats gonna be a big change. Looks like you get a break warning from ground fire too. The main fix not listed is the F-16 glass canopy has been fixed - yah!! But the performance isnt too bad now - nearly on maxed out. Quote
RichardG Posted November 29, 2009 Posted November 29, 2009 This fixed all my stuttering issues. In fact, its running better than the other installs now, with everything maxed out. SahWeet! Mess around with the HUD difficulty settings, you'll get the ecm, bomb ripple count, etc cues back. Cycle through with ALT D. Quote
