dsawan Posted February 14, 2010 Posted February 14, 2010 Wonder if Lucas would ever edit that scene instead of him dying in the Sarlacc pit. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y9P6zmjtm68&feature=related Quote
macelena Posted February 14, 2010 Posted February 14, 2010 Agree. In fact, it wasn´t even his own death, but borrowed from an alternate script http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bKtYsUrnw7U&feature=related Quote
shotdown Posted February 14, 2010 Posted February 14, 2010 (edited) Better leaving it like it is now. Last time Lucas decided to change something he made Greedo shoot first The original: http://www.youtube.c...h?v=e1YbFnkZwZk was much better. Edited February 14, 2010 by shotdown Quote
+whiteknight06604 Posted February 14, 2010 Posted February 14, 2010 Bobba Fett has got to be the most overated "hero" ever.I find it unfathamable that people will enthuse about him for hours at a a time on forums and take it as a personel insult if you don't worship the guy. Quote
+Wrench Posted February 14, 2010 Posted February 14, 2010 So falling into a giant anus in the middle of desert is bad???? wrench kevin stein Quote
+Gocad Posted February 15, 2010 Posted February 15, 2010 I think the problem here is that Boba Fett wasn't the character he is now when they made RotJ. The scream when Boba hits the barge is pretty silly though. Quote
+JediMaster Posted February 15, 2010 Posted February 15, 2010 He was a minor character with a cool attitude and neat equipment, but he wasn't the end-all, be-all. His father was far more impressive, as he took on a Jedi with no weapons, pure melee, and technically came out ahead. Sure he lost later when he relied on a broken machine to save him, but the point is he did a good job. His son...not so much. Quote

Capitaine Vengeur Posted February 16, 2010 Posted February 16, 2010 In fact, in the Star Wars Expanded Universe, Bobba Fett doesn't even die from the Sarlacc's gastric juices. His armor suit keeps him burnt but alive for days of slow digestion before he is saved by a passing fellow Mandalorian (=Fett's culture: tough guys with heavy weaponry and armor suits with T-visor helmets, half-Vikings and half-Spartans). He later become the new leader of the formerly scattered Mandalorians, like his father before him. Quote
Growler67 Posted February 18, 2010 Posted February 18, 2010 The Robot Chicken version was the BEST :) IMO. Quote
