+Olham Posted April 9, 2010 Posted April 9, 2010 After some more working on my Triplane skins, they are uploaded for everyone's use. Here are the pics - have fun with them and stay aloft!
UK_Widowmaker Posted April 9, 2010 Posted April 9, 2010 Nice ones Olham old chap...they will find their way into my Hanger
Barkhorn1x Posted April 9, 2010 Posted April 9, 2010 Nice stuff. Both you and UK_Widowmaker do great work.
Hellshade Posted April 9, 2010 Posted April 9, 2010 Wow, Those are just beautiful. Well done sir. For an avid fan of the Albs, you do fine work for the other side sir. Hellshade
+Olham Posted April 10, 2010 Author Posted April 10, 2010 (edited) Thank you all! I like the Tripe a lot and will fly it more often now that I got hooked. An aircraft easy to fly, very agile AND fast - what more would you want on the British side? (Well, two guns would be nice... But you can't have it all). Edited April 10, 2010 by Olham

But you can't have it all). Sure can! ...there's a 2 Gun version of the Tripe available for about 1 months service Really nice work on theose skins Olham
Morris Posted April 10, 2010 Posted April 10, 2010 Olham, Both are great work but the silver bird is impressive. Morris
+Dej Posted April 10, 2010 Posted April 10, 2010 Lovely job. If Sopwith had Olham as an employee during the War they could have flogged a load of Tripes to the French!
+Olham Posted April 10, 2010 Author Posted April 10, 2010 Seems, the Tripe was too expensive or too difficult/time consuming to build - otherwise they would have had many more of this wonderful craft, I'd think. And only then they could have sold any to France. But with these designs, you can be glad if your squadron commander lets you get away with it! :acute:
Burning Beard Posted April 10, 2010 Posted April 10, 2010 Very nice Olham, I'll have to rush over there and download them. Beard
Scouseair68 Posted April 11, 2010 Posted April 11, 2010 Olham, that silver bird is truly a very beautiful paint job. Crates of beer for the ground crew are in order. I've not put a skin into OFF before, but I sense an RNAS career with personal skin coming on so I'll have to look into it. And to all the excellent skinners on these forums, hurrah. You do wonderful work.
+RAF_Louvert Posted April 11, 2010 Posted April 11, 2010 . Absolutely beautiful work as always Olham. I will be adding both to my collection. Cheers! Lou .
BOBDAV Posted April 11, 2010 Posted April 11, 2010 Seems as though they are not dds files how do you change them to dds Thanks
+Olham Posted April 11, 2010 Author Posted April 11, 2010 They are zipped (compressed) files. Right-click on a file, then choose "extract here". After that, move the file here: (your game folder) > campaigns > CampaignData > skins

+Olham Posted April 11, 2010 Author Posted April 11, 2010 Yer right, BOBDAV - I obviously compressed the wrong files; the Photoshop skins. Sorry for that; now I uploaded the dds-files; may take a while, cause the admins need to check the files, before they can be downloaded. My brain is only scrambled eggs recently...

UK_Widowmaker Posted April 13, 2010 Posted April 13, 2010 That's nothing Olham...I uploaded a skin as a .PDF once!
+Olham Posted April 13, 2010 Author Posted April 13, 2010 ...as long as we can still laugh about ourselves...
UK_Widowmaker Posted April 13, 2010 Posted April 13, 2010 ...as long as we can still laugh about ourselves... Sometimes...thats about all we can do
rabu Posted April 15, 2010 Posted April 15, 2010 Really nice work, but what are you doing working on, uhh.. those other guy's planes. You didn't sabatoge them, did you?
+Olham Posted April 15, 2010 Author Posted April 15, 2010 Rabu, I like to work out some personal skins for aircraft I like to fly myself. So, although I'm mostly flying Albatros campaigns, I always have a British and often a French pilot too. I am a European there, seeing that the former enemies had built some great aircraft, too. And I enjoy the Tripe. Thanks for the compliment!
