Hasse Wind Posted November 13, 2010 Posted November 13, 2010 Oh no, now we have no choice left but to stone you for you shameful act, Olham! (Now I really hope the below vid is not blocked by the solicitors in Germany...) Seriously speaking, who's Nupe was that? Quote
Olham Posted November 13, 2010 Author Posted November 13, 2010 Wonderful! And it was available in Germany!!! Now to the Nupe: I don't know, who's craft that was - I had "Labels" still deaktived from my last "K vs C" flight. Sorry. Quote
sandbagger Posted November 13, 2010 Posted November 13, 2010 Ahhh - I wondered when 'Le Pol' would be seen - actually it's a ficticious Marking for that squad and is dedicated to Polovski - I think you'll be safe as the real Polovski is way to busy on phase 4 to fly !! Quote
Olham Posted November 13, 2010 Author Posted November 13, 2010 No joke??? Hey, that was a good one! So I only shot down a gofer? What a relief! Hasse Wind and Rickitycrate would never forgive me, if they'd never ever get their Gothas and other two-seaters. Quote
Rickitycrate Posted November 14, 2010 Posted November 14, 2010 Good for you Herr Olham, you have found an "Easter Egg" of sorts. Better still Pol survives to complete his work. I'm looking forward to more P4 pics. Quote
Rugbyfan1972 Posted November 14, 2010 Posted November 14, 2010 Ahhh - I wondered when 'Le Pol' would be seen - actually it's a ficticious Marking for that squad and is dedicated to Polovski - I think you'll be safe as the real Polovski is way to busy on phase 4 to fly !! Sandbagger, Do any of the other team members have ficticious markings dedicated to them? Thanks Rugbyfan1972 Quote
Beanie Posted November 14, 2010 Posted November 14, 2010 Nieuport Le Pol can be found in Nieuport 24bis file, as Esc 23 1917 Quote
sandbagger Posted November 14, 2010 Posted November 14, 2010 Sandbagger, Do any of the other team members have ficticious markings dedicated to them? Thanks Rugbyfan1972 If I remember correctly, both 'Shredward' and 'Winder' have dedications in-game, although I can't recall which entente aircraft they're on - possibly Spad X.III and Sopwith Camel Quote
+Polovski Posted November 14, 2010 Posted November 14, 2010 LOL thanks for making that Sandbagger! Olham pity you filled it full of holes though and it got a fair bit of mud from the crash lol. My P4 work has slowed a little due to that crash - I am having touble with pain in my wrist so must be that! Quote
Olham Posted November 14, 2010 Author Posted November 14, 2010 I'll never do it again - now I know what to look for. Good that no one knows where I live in Berlin - they would send bombers after this! I'm glad I didn't hit you, and wish you good recovery. As long as you are hampered, spend some time with the family then, okay? Quote
+Polovski Posted November 15, 2010 Posted November 15, 2010 Thanks Olham - no worries shoot away that's what we are in it for ;). Quote
Olham Posted November 15, 2010 Author Posted November 15, 2010 Pol: ...no worries shoot away that's what we are in it for That's what I thought - that's what I call English Sportsgeist*! The next drinks are on me! *sportsmanship Quote
Slartibartfast Posted November 15, 2010 Posted November 15, 2010 Well we English like for it to be sporting old Chap... Quote
RAF_Louvert Posted November 15, 2010 Posted November 15, 2010 . ...hee, hee...now I will have to go hunting for this myself. How many other little tips of the hat might be discovered over the course of an OFF career, I wonder. . Quote
Olham Posted November 15, 2010 Author Posted November 15, 2010 Well, as Sandbagger said - there are also "tips of the hat" for Winder and Shredward hidden somewhere. A good reason to fly many squadrons and search for them. And whoever finds them: please report with screenshot! Quote
Guest British_eh Posted November 19, 2010 Posted November 19, 2010 Great stuff Sandbager, and wow Olham, how on earth did you spot that?????? Great you could get a pic of it too. Cheers, British_eh Quote
Olham Posted November 19, 2010 Author Posted November 19, 2010 How I spotted it? I went as close as usual, when shooting someone up, plus the damaged Nupes always seem to seek to hugg my Albatros. Quote
Rickitycrate Posted November 19, 2010 Posted November 19, 2010 Olham, did you mean hug your Albatrass? Quote
RAF_Louvert Posted November 19, 2010 Posted November 19, 2010 . This might be getting just a taaaaaaaaaad too personal. . Quote
Olham Posted November 19, 2010 Author Posted November 19, 2010 Yes, I meant "to hug" - especially Nieuport, when shot up, have the tendency to crash into my kite. Now you guys got me worried, what that wrongly written word would mean? It must be something, that they didn't want to put into LEO Dictionary? ... Quote
Herr Prop-Wasche Posted November 19, 2010 Posted November 19, 2010 I believe they are referring to your rear-end, bum, or a&@, Olham! Quote
Rickitycrate Posted November 19, 2010 Posted November 19, 2010 They fly so close they get right up your derrierre. Quote
Olham Posted November 19, 2010 Author Posted November 19, 2010 (edited) Ahem - no - the French? Didn't know that! One letter too many or too few can make a dangerous difference, it seems! Edited November 19, 2010 by Olham Quote
