completely impractical; no war load, no range, what use would it be???

Nope, they certainly did not do that :grin:

Balzac instead of Ballsac and it comes from Honoré de Balzac, as far as I know.

 

On the other hand if the plane was practicly no good and was named after someone's scrotum, does that mean they implicated that man's scrotum was no good either??? What a way to leave a historical mark... :grin::rofl:
