Lexx_Luthor Posted September 7, 2011 Posted September 7, 2011 --- don't install to program files .. install to the root of /C That's interesting. I have only "installed" SF-1 one time and "Browsed" it to my "D" drive partition in a folder named "SF"...made a copy folder on another partition named StrikeFighters 1.0 -- pure virgin 1.0 -- and if I ever needed to re-install, just copied over the copy to my D partition, then Patched up from there. If possible, I always try to avoid putting software in Program Files as I prefer really simple easy nav. For me, its... D:\SF lol Quote
Rover Posted September 29, 2013 Posted September 29, 2013 Hello!!!I've installed SFP1 on D: gerd drive, I've patched to 2008 version but, two things happend:1) I can't set the screen resolution (there appear no options for that).2) When I want to play any mission, the sim crashed to the desktop.I can't find the post in Knowledge Base, and I wish ti install SFP1 on W7 for multiplayer gaming!!!Thanks!!! Lexx_Luthor Posted October 1, 2013 Posted October 1, 2013 Did it work BP (Before Patch)? What I do, is every time I copy over 1.0, since I never "re install" from CD cos I never have to, I always run the game, then Patchup, run it again, to see if everything goes right, then start making my changes. Never leave the Lexx Never let anyone on board the Lexx Never change a stock StrikeFighters 1.0 until you know it flies okay. Quote
+RAVEN Posted October 1, 2013 Posted October 1, 2013 I copied SFP1 from my XP Comp to my Win7 Lap and it runs fine. Had to install DirectX 9.b for it to run in Win7. Quote
