+whiteknight06604 935 Posted February 4, 2012 that has to be the ugliest shade of green and blue I have seen on a non-demonstration aircraft. it's as ugly as the people who run that sh!thole country.

Guest rscsjsuso5 Posted February 4, 2012 (edited) agree the mig color of green doesn't do justice for the plane . but keep in mind nkorea is poor and also think a different way in terms of painting their planes. the green might be their way of camo and also coughing up the money for some paint bucket can be hard for them. in reality , even though they use the ideology of military first, most of their planes are rusted and plus their pilot still use coldwar pilot helmets that doesn't do justice for the mig29. a big difference between nkorea and india mig29 . to put this in skinning terminology the skin might be low quality as the mig's nose is light grey and maybe the mig need additional colors. it looks like we ain't gonna get any bump mapping from nkorea mig. Kodiak 27 Posted February 4, 2012 Mig-29 are always beautiful! Even with a horrible paintshop!
Capitaine Vengeur 263 Posted February 4, 2012 I think, I know, where they got the green paint from Well, the Great Leader may have chosen to paint the MiGs, trains, and all of the most glorious People's machines in a bright Socialist red. But being the red-green color blind degenerate Kim he may be, he pointed out the wrong paint scheme. Who'd care to say him he is wrong?
DWCAce 19 Posted February 4, 2012 NK has some $$$ to throw around, thought most of the population is poor. As usual, the Government has some dough and can feed it's self, just look at their leader, he's a porker!
FeDee 28 Posted February 4, 2012 Agree with WhiteKnight.. The colour is totally horrible. Anyway, no matter what the colour of the MiG is, it is beautiful.

Reminds me of a story I read somewhere stating that a certain shade of light blue was the "cheapest paint in the world" according to the Soviet Union which is why it was used for everything from the interior of Hinds to the exterior of Zil trucks... Gr.Viper 131 Posted February 6, 2012 Yes, it's that exact ubiquitous blue color. I've seen it on pipes, wooden fences, village houses. There's also a brand for painting over rust.
