I know I have too much WIPS and not much time to finish them up all ..... but I can't resist rebuilding this old Pasko's plane using last Stary's fantastic Yak-23 pit.

@ For Stary the great polish Terraformer/Cockpitmaker: May I use Your pit? If so, have You some edits to do for Yak-15 fit? (Your message board is full up ......)

That's what I hoped: please upgrade Your Yak-23 pit in a Yak-15 one!

I wait for you.

downgrade rather... ok, will have a look guys, those skins alone are worth it Paulo!

.... oh yes, downgrade is the right word! I have a whole book full of Yak-15/17/23 skins to make for You Stary ..... :groupwave:

I removed the windscreen via .INI trick but the lower part of the front windscreen frames showed a free space... A dedicated cockpit is urging! TheYak-15 pit from IL-2 game pit is a good example to follow.

To paulopanz - The correct green color should be this - http://www.airliners...913b2ce0ff0115d

To Stary - http://www.airliners...913b2ce0ff0115d

Good work guys!!

The cockpit shot is fantastic!

About colors there are quite a lot of different greens. Your is taken from a real thing, but museum planes are often repainted.

For example except Acro trams VVS planes of that era should not have red stars on upper wings ....

BTW I will surely use your pic for a skin.

Thank You.

yes yes yes, BUT making proper one would take ALOT of time, trust me on this one... so here's downgraded, stand-in version based on my Flora

one... not perfect but close enough I guess*

here it is as it is... with all the projects I'm involved in at the moment new proper Yak-15 is out of the question

Yak 15 mockup cockpit.zip

*personally I prefer to have close enought Yak-23 standing in for Yak-15 and some others than not to have any

(also we all were WOW! seeing repainted Typhoons and Texans posing as FW-190s in those good old war movies  )

Very nice Stary for a quick mockup :ninja:

Now I can replace the -23 pit in the Yak-15 too... I use it to fly intercepts on B-29 on theTaiwan terrain.. fun fun... :)

those little early jets are sweet... now we need one to revamp La-15
