+JonathanRL 974 Posted December 6, 2012 Today, Sweden discontinues the use of the A/B versions of JAS 39 Gripen. So they went ahead and painted it in the old fashioned Viggen colour :)
+ST0RM 145 Posted December 6, 2012 Yes, that is cool. Nice to see the retro look on a "newer" jet. -Jeff
ValAstur 1,294 Posted December 6, 2012 (edited) Maybe they saw Spinners' Spilnter Gripen and decided to give it a chance... http://combatace.com...700#entry556692 Edited December 6, 2012 by ValAstur

thodouras95 25 Posted December 6, 2012 I can actually imagine this on every single aircraft I know, and it looks damn good.
Derk 265 Posted December 6, 2012 (edited) Yep, beautiful, Spinners Gripen is great too (BTW when are we going to have a what if RSAF B52 in splinter camo from him?). It is a modellers nightmare in any case and I'm entitled to say so, even if I only got an 1:72 AJ 37 in this camo.... Any idea what is going to happen to the retired A's? They cannot have that many flying hours, would have been a good bargain for the RNZAF I guess...... Edited December 6, 2012 by Derk
