I originally made the fortification objects in response to requests from the FE map makers. Later, I expanded the selection so the objects could be used in other times and places. +gterl 1,211 Posted February 10, 2015 Correct, thank you. I'm not using that one on the Italian map

+Geezer 3,569 Posted September 28, 2015 Haven't had much time for modding, but have been able to experiment a bit with terrain tile art. By trial and error, I've found that a Google map shot with the scale bar at "200 feet" will paste down on a 500m FE terrain tile and - almost - look real. +Stephen1918 1,474 Posted September 28, 2015 These are beautiful. I can imagine flying over a town filled with detail like this. The aqueduct is a nice touch. Are you planning to use these in Spain?
+Geezer 3,569 Posted September 28, 2015 (edited) These are beautiful. I can imagine flying over a town filled with detail like this. The aqueduct is a nice touch. Are you planning to use these in Spain? Yeah, everything you see - except the tile art - is intended for Spain. I also have plans to design clumps of town buildings in a modular system, so they can be placed on the map several different ways. When Gterl and I first discussed a SCW, we agreed we wanted better buildings - George called the current buildings "cuboids" and requested more detail.
