Hauksbee 103 Posted February 23, 2013 I'd cast my vote with Shia LaBeouf, though he's far from my favorite actor. But this is where he looks the part.
Olham 164 Posted February 23, 2013 John Cussack is a good choice IMHO. Nicholas Cage had the right eyes - but he is definitely beyond the age of a fighter pilot. I like Robert Downey jr. - I guess he could play him. Or the German Jan Henrik Stahlberg?

JFM 18 Posted February 27, 2013 I hope there is no Voss movie. It would be about one day, that day would be overly dramaticized way more than it already is, the CGI would have the planes performing stunts a Pitts couldn't pull off, and the history driving the film would be flagrantly inaccurate. He does make a very valid point.
NS13Jarhead 6 Posted February 28, 2013 (edited) Asa Butterfield did an amazing job in "Hugo" and I can't wait to see how he does in the title role in "Ender's Game" when it comes out in November. Since Hauksbee's script is still on the drawing board, there is time for this kid to age into the role. Interesting coincidence is that he was born 100 years after Voss, so if you start filming in 2016 or 2017, he'll be exactly the right age! RamblingSid 3 Posted March 2, 2013 Voss = Peter Lorre (obviously) But why stop there: Goering = Sydney Greenstreet MVR = Errol Flynn Ball = Alan Ladd Bishop = James Cagney Kitchener = Gloria Swanson Teh Kaiser = Anton Walbrook Haigh = Charlton Heston Tsarina Alexandra = Ethel Merman Rasputin = Liam Neeson Wonder what the title would be - Voss in Translation ?
