+MigBuster Posted June 13, 2013 Posted June 13, 2013 Don't speak Russian but I suspect they are saying controlled flat spin somewhere
+JediMaster Posted June 14, 2013 Posted June 14, 2013 So, is the opposite a "well-endowed" spin? See, China, THAT is the size you make landing gear doors!
+Gepard Posted June 14, 2013 Posted June 14, 2013 I would say "spin recovery test". Maybe, that i'm wrong. Its an impressive bird. Very interessting for me was the design of the wing roots with the movable parts, which seems to be able to act as canards.
+JediMaster Posted June 15, 2013 Posted June 15, 2013 It seems a combination of that with the F-15's "nodding" intakes.

Yeah, they're apparently called levcons which are "active" as in moving LERX's. Atleast thats what wiki says.
BailOut Posted June 29, 2013 Posted June 29, 2013 Very cool. I wonder if it's going to have any multi-role capability or if it will be a pure interceptor.
