Once you have tried tell us what happened.

Well, instead of freezing up at 40%........it froze up at 80%, so using a newer groundobject.dll with an older install don't work.......on the bright side my install is now up to date, which isn't really all that bright cause I preferred my old may 2012 install.

So I'll ask again, do you folks recommend AVG, or any other which doesn't pic on SF 2 series?

 

The ones which like me, got problems with Avast, did you all changed to another anti-virus?

 

I used to use AVG and I switched over to Avast because it was getting heavier and slower........And now with this new version of Avast I'm starting to feel the same way, its annoying why cant they just leave these nice simple antivirus programs.....simple?

 

or.. just get MS security essentials already. used to be on avast but it was turning into bloatware lately...

 

This sounds like something to check into?

I've been using ms security for nearly 2 years now, no issues. it's free, and updated all the time

Note: I have used Webroot since something like 2004 with no issues I am aware of.

Turns out this was the cause of all my problems lately too. Thanks for the fix!
