I was wondering if someone could answer some questions on the implementation of WEP on the PROP_ENGINE system type?
1) Was this system fully implemented in SFP2 or have more recent patches broken it?
2) The WEPTimeLimit= parameter - does this actually work?
I've been trying to figure this out by creating engines with almost zero "SLPowerDry" and giving a reasonable level of "SLPowerWEP". The hope is to test if WEP is actually working - the idea being to get the aircraft to takeoff and climb for a minute or two at WEP power before seeing power suddenly drop off as WEP runs out. All that happens is that the plane struggles to even move on the runway with almost zero thrust - WEP never kicks in, effectively giving a 0hp engine.
If anyone has any clues or can even share the engine section from TK's P-51D as an example that'd be great.
After a few weeks spent with IL-2: Battle of Bodenplatte plus the intervening two years of development, I wanted to present to you my full review for IL-2: Battle of Bodenplatte.
This latest title is more evolution than revolution that iterates on the series while giving us some legendary aircraft to fly. I think the developers made the right choice picking a late war western front scenario and I think the features and iterative evolution of the series over these last two years have made the IL-2 series stronger than ever.

1. COPY THE KUBELWAGEN FOLDER FOUND HERE INTO THE "GROUNDOBJECT" SUB-FOLDER FOUND IN YOUR INSTALL'S "OBJECTS" FOLDER
2. EDIT YOUR TERRAIN'S "TERRAIN NAME'S_TYPES.INI" BY ADDING THE FOLLOWING AT THE END OF THE TARGET TYPES LISTED THERE

To have the object show up in game it will need to be manually added to the various areas in the Targets list by using something like Mue's TargetAreadEditor.
Could work in SF1 with some fiddling with INI files but I'm not going to try.
