INTRODUCTION
The Italian Front during WW1 refers to a series of battles fought between 1915 and 1918 in northern Italy between the armies of Austria-Hungary and Germany against Italy.
Italy hoped that by joining the countries of the Triple Entente against the Central Powers it would gain Cisalpine Tyrol (today's provinces of Trentino and South Tyrol), the Austrian Littoral, northern Dalmatia and some areas of western Carniola.
Italy had hoped to begin the war with a surprise offensive intended to move quickly and capture several Austrian cities.
Well, the war soon bogged down into trench warfare similar to the Western Front fought in France.

INCLUDED
- Italian terrain/front WW1
- Ground objects
- Italian campaign 1915-1917 (incl. needed skins)

FAQs
Q: Is the scale of the map correct
A: No
Q: Why not the Piave river front, in order to create late 1917/1918 scenarios?
A: Because
Q: Are all the named towns and cities correct (placement and naming)
A: Yes as good as it gets.
Q: Does it include more than one season?
A: No, currently not. Might be released with version 2
Q: Is the frontline correct?
A: Yes as good as it gets, representing late 1917 with certain omissions in order to get targets for the campaigns (like Monfalcone being Austro-Hungarian)
Q: The river Isonzo seems to cut through the mountains, is that correct?
A: To a certain degree, but I had to modify massively the heightmap in order to make things look right (e.g. river not flowing up/down the mountains)
Q: The northern part of the map, e.g. toward Munich, seems without further towns?
A: Correct. All forests and lakes are there but apart from the major cities (Salzburg & Munich) I've not yes included smaller towns.

INSTALLATION
1. Make a backup copy of your First Eagles folder (just in case)
2. Extract the file into a temporary folder (like c:\temp\)
3. Copy all the relevant folders into the respective First Eagles game folders
(example: c:\temp\First Eagles\Terrain\wwiItaly into your c:\Program Files\First Eagles\Terrain folder)
4. Drop the skin folders into the respective aircraft folders and add the included lines into the aircraft ini file

Works fine in FE2. Only issue I had was that along some roads through forests, what look like they should be telegraph poles look instead like solid brown rectangles. Hardly noticeable. Make sure you put the terrain in 'Terrains' not 'Terrain' and the ground objects in 'Groundobject' not 'Groundobjects' (these two folders in the download are named for installation in FE, not FE2).

Can't find some of the required planes, like the  Italian SVA5.

The SVA5 is the Ansaldo SVA5 by Laton - in the "Other Entente Aircraft" section

The SP3 is the Savoia Pomillio SP.3 by Laton - in the "Other Entente Aircraft" section

The Ca3 is the Caproni Ca.3 by Monty CZ - in the "Other Entente Aircraft" section

All of the oefD3 planes are the Albatros D.III Oeffag planes by Jan Tuma - in the "Other Central Powers Aircraft" section - there are five of them with different batch numbers ("Ba.253" and so on.)

Hope this helps.

Firstly, thanks for your help throughout the last days, I asked way too much questions. So, I am sorry for that lol, just trying to learn. Now, I wonder if there a toturial for making maps as i Didn't find anything in the knowledge base or maybe I missed something, but I looked there many times. I was planning to learn making some tanks or ships/carrier and jets, but I found everything covered even fantasy planes are here. Thanks for that too lol. I found many maps here, but they haven't covered everything yet and from that I understand that they must be taking a huge load of time and they seems to be the hardest. However, if anyone has any link/file for any tutorial for maps making. I would appreciate it. I used to make some maps and mod other games, but I am not really familiar with this game files except ini files as they are pretty simple, but I try to learn lol.

It's taken quite some time as Covid-19 stagnated manufacturing of 3D models and anything EAWPRO, but I'm not about to give up and finally found some extra energy to start work on the 4th citymodel for the Italy addon. Shown here still using lores textures and not entirely a 100% model yet. There's still about 35% unused space in the model which allows for dreaming up some extra nice details.

Devellopment is carrying on, although somewhat more in the background, sorry.

View File Default skin for SPAD-VII"s family
Default skin for SDAD VII's family  in-game integrated models.
I tried to add some "photorealistic" textures for more impressive image of this aircraft.
      Add to SPAD7_150, SPAD7_180, SPAD7_LG :
      [TextureSetXXX]
      Name=French_PhR
