Ok. I'll do it. The likes and your comments convinced me to go on. But it'll take some time. But I think I can show you the EF-4Dh Desert Phantom II soon enough.

I love this Rhino, looks great! Just as a curiosity and as a bonus, is possible to extend the cammo into the radome?

P.S. Mario are you planning a ground attack plane and bomber with this cammo? the A4 and the B57 will fit perfectly!

It is of course possible to extend the camo to the radome, but then the sharkmouth used would not look good anymore because then it'll look like floating in the middle of the nose making it necessary to use the other one. If desired, I can add an extra JPG for the nose so ppl can switch to the version they like most.

An A-4? Why not. Concerning Canberra: Was thinking of a Buccaneer and an A-10 for attackers. But I'm open for ideas. Since I added the colour sheet to the first plane pack, everbody can give it a try and post pics here.

Loving the Rhino, looking forward to the next plane pack!

This thread inspired me to invest some time in a Dhimari light attacker, and made for the most fun testing mission I've had yet. Mission is armed recon right next to a Parani airbase deep inside enemy territory. Hugging the ground we get in, a flight of four very small birds with some very big bombs  :assassin:

index.php?app=gallery&module=images&sect

Clearing the last hill we run into a pretty nasty surprise, as a flight of four MiG-23MLs ambush us. Luckily we are so low that the multiple Apex missiles launched at us miss and slam into the hillside

index.php?app=gallery&module=images&sect

Not all of us go sidewinders but number three scores a kill. In the intense turning fight the MiG-23 is much too fast to keep up with the small dragonflies. I spot the truck convoy two miles from our position and order my wingman to go after the truck convoy. Having unsuccessfully expended both my 'Winders I go for the SAMs around town when I hear the unsettling sound of shells impacting the ground below me.

index.php?app=gallery&module=images&sect

A flight of MiG-21s have joined the fray! My wingman splashes some of the trucks but three gets struck and is shot down.

index.php?app=gallery&module=images&sect

Now the odds are dire! I order the whole flight to engage air and keep turning. Number two goes down from either a SAM or AAM while engaging the convoy.

index.php?app=gallery&module=images&sect

Luckily, a friendly fighter flight is closing in and one by one the MiGs turn to engage this new threat. I decide to help out by engaging a SA-3 site that is firing on the incoming friendly flight. Try to hit me now!

The marines mop up the rest of the opposition and my flight return home to friendlier skies.

That A-37 is awesome! :good:

I'm afraid to ask, but is that a DAT-Bird? Maybe you can at least release the skin without the plane.

I'll paint that second nose Stratos asked for and then I pack it up for the second plane pack consisting of the F-100, the E- and J-Rhino.

My plans for the upcoming plane packs:

Pack 3: A-4, A-7, A-10

Pack 4: Mirage III, Mirage V

Pack 5: Buccaneer + ? (maybe Canberra)

I'm always open for further suggestions

Hey Stratos

These pics show how the fully camoed nose of the E-Rhino would look like:

The sharkmouth will be moved a bit forward to cloak the grey part of the gunbay. I'll add this one to the plane pack, but I leave the black nose standard, so everybody can decide which he/she likes most incl. an instruction how to switch them.

That sounds like a good plan!

The A-37B is my own, been WIP for a good long while now, it is actually not missing many details any more but it needs a more modern cockpit to go with it...

Oh yeas, that looks great. Btw one question: How come you dont use painted on insignia instead of decals? It's a minor thing but I think painted on looks better.

Honestly said, I'm no fan of painting them directly on the skin. I only do that when I don't really know the name of the mesh where I put them. But I can weather the decals used, to make it look more realistic.

Nah it's okay, everyone has their own style do skins and I certainly can't complain about yours. Looking forward to the next pack, are you doing the Buccaneer next or?

I'm working on an american attacker package including A-4, A-7 and A-10. Might take a while since the A-10 is not that easy to skin.

The A-4 is already finished. Now I'm working on the A-7. Pics will follow soon (I hope )

I like it, it looks great and a sensible buy for the deep strike/ anti-ship role, probably to replace aging Buccaneers?

Sounds like a good plan to me. I was thinking of replacing the A-10 with the A-6, since I'm of the opinion, that the A-10 is maybe OP. The A-6 makes a good attacker being covered by Rhinos or Zippers.
