+Dave Posted July 21, 2014 Posted July 21, 2014 http://www.latimes.com/entertainment/la-et-james-garner-obit-gallery-20140721-story.html#page=1 Loved everything he did. Especially the Rockford Files.
TeargasHorse Posted July 21, 2014 Posted July 21, 2014 I was flipping channels about 3 days ago and Rockford Files was on. It was about 1/3 way through, so I watched it anyway. I was thinking how for a 70s show, it didn't feel scripted. It was a great revelation. I'm not that old, I was 8 or 9 when my mom used to take the TV over, but I remember some of the episode plots. And now.... RIP Mr. Garner, you were great in 8 Rules too.
macelena Posted July 21, 2014 Posted July 21, 2014 He should have starred Gran Torino. And told how he got shot in the ass in Korea in RL. Hard to be so cool yet down to Earth
