30 or 60 rounds with the NR-30 cannon(MiG-21F-13)?

Hi

 

I am a little confused about the right amount of ammo for the NR-30 cannon with the MiG-21F-13. 

Some good sources mentioned 60 rounds(Tom Cooper David Nicolle "Arab MiGs" , EAF MiG-21 pilot Reda el-iraqi), also this 60 rounds were mentioned by some Czech sources or by the info description of the MiG-21F-13 by the Aeronautical Museum Belgrad .

Other sources speak about 30 rounds, like Wikipedia, Walk Around(Hans-Heiri Stapfer)or Shlomo Aloni.   

I dont have finded any mention of the amount by the VPAF MiG-21F-13s pilots reports.

Sorry, first versions of the F carried 2 guns with 30 rounds each. Then one gun was removed but the 60 rounds were kept.

hmm - think we stopped at 60 round capacity in the last thread - but only usually 30 rounds loaded.

In the LSK (East German Air Force) the combat gun ammo load of the MiG-21F-13 was 60 rounds.
