Good Morning Dhimar 

Its February 1952 and its time for our lads of the FAA to take of again for another morning Combat Air Patrol over the gulf of Dhimar on our trusty English Eletric Sharks FG.1s.....

glad you guys like it it the frist one of a campaing im making for the desert terrain whit only what ifs that im building has we speak the campaing (well the frist one that im making) his set for 1952 starting whit dhimar and FAA on november 51 full FAA RAF USN USAF USMC on 52 the OPFOR the usual ones Paran URSS.

 

at this point i the this line up

 

English Electric Shark FG.1

Supermarine Rapier F.1

De Haviland Osprey b.1

 

Tupolev Tu-11 firefox

 

and some that an idea but nothing final or do have the names for then yet!!!!!

 

has they are near done i will show then...


and yes this a ME 262 HG III.

24 june 1951 memories of Mid pilot Shepard

"It was just another day for us we had been tasked to patrol the gulf of Dhimar near the border over the water its part of a strategy to scare the Parani to a Royal Navy Aircraft carrier over the gulf whit our new shiny Shark FG.1 aboard well at least at frist in march or so now thing were getting diferent and the Parani air force was getting more bold was we speak."

Hi Cocas, models look quite interesting. Not sure how much what-if you want these to be, so just for information, Soviet aircraft constructors were sort of specialized.

Tupolev would build mostly heavy bombers and passenger aircraft (Tu-128 was the sole exception, but it was a very very heavy interceptor), Sukhoi would do heavy fighters, fighter-bombers and attack aircraft, MiG - mostly light fighters and so on.

The Tu-11 above would be more in line with Lavochkin's or Yakovlev's work at the time, so La-something or Yak-something would be more credible in my opinion. But for a what-if Tu-11 is also fine.

i know but i cloud found a clear la-XX pr Yakovlev yak-XX to match and i recall that during the biplane era Tupolev made some fighters using Policarpov´s hand but they come from Tupolev IIRC!

tomorow i continue whit skin and inis and im thinking off removing the nose guns i add for fun there not making sense at this point!
