+Stratos Posted April 11, 2016 Posted April 11, 2016 (edited) A bit of my own backstory. With Greenland being part of Denmark NATO high officers demanded Copenhagen more strenght to defende the North Atlantic of soviet surface ships transiting to central Atlantic. Soon the Danish Air force start looking everywhere for a powerful antiship airplane, and they found one in France in the form of the Super Étendard, payed in part by NATO funds the Danish "Drakkars" as they were soon called start patrolling the North Atlantic being based in Greenland. In numerous exercises they provided a credible anti-ship force that had to be protected and countered so NATO gained valued experience. The Super Ètendard soldiered until 2010 when they were replaced by brand new F/A-18F Super Hornets with a dual SEAD/Anti ship role. Hope you guys like it. Edited April 11, 2016 by Stratos 2 Quote
RUSTYMORLEY Posted April 11, 2016 Posted April 11, 2016 I certainly wish we had one of these in SF.1. Very clean and graceful aircraft. Quote
