Good catch...have another one

Yes, - The Blue Max still stands out as one of the few really classic  WW1 aerial combat movies. George Peppard was a likeable and ambitious character in the film and a host of other stars made up the supporting roles. The aerial combat scenes are second to none. Love that Pfalz D.III. I hope Stephen1918 can one-day make one for First Eagles.

Why you do not like the Pfalz D.III and D.IIIa by A-Team?

(By the way, in this film a Lt. Stachel's Pfalz is incorrectly painted. ;) The fuselage of this aircraft for some reason is covered with lozenge instead of silver/silvergrau).

what about classics, like "Wings" (1927) or both versions of "The Dawn Patrol" ? (1930 & 1938) Not to forget "Hell's Angels" (1930??)

..my all time favourite!!

Bruno Stachel: Do you think I came all this way to run off to Switzerland with you?
Countess Kaeti von Klugermann: You gambled your life for me once with Willy.
Bruno Stachel: That was about flying, Kaeti, not about you!
