I know this is messed up. But that last one looks like rider is running from their bike.

If I recall correctly that pilot in the F-8 didn't make it.

Fortunately, in this particular accident the pilot did safely eject and survive.  Aircraft was BuNo 145357 (AB-212), pilot was Lt Jg Terry Kryway.  There's a short explanation here: http://www.crusader.gaetanmarie.com/articles/hardlanding/ahardlanding.htm, also a listing over at Joe Baugher (http://www.joebaugher.com/navy_serials/thirdseries18.html).

At least they walked away from these incidents and lived to fly / fight / ride another day. :good:

One of my school mates was killed in 1977 on a motorbike when he had just left school, he hit a tree head on at 60 mph, his crash helmet was split in two, died at the scene. !!!

They announced his death at the school morning assembly the following day, we were all speechless !!!
