+torno Posted September 11, 2018 Posted September 11, 2018 View File FW-190A4 This is one of the first versions of this German fighter, who believes for the sfp2 series. the file contains the model of the plane plus 4 skin, a template of high resolution, the armament plus the new sounds and how to install them, only the pilot is not my author and I do not know who created it, but he is grateful for his work. Sorry my bad english Torno & Banidos team Submitter torno Submitted 09/10/2018 Category FW-190 1 3 Quote
Wrench Posted September 11, 2018 Posted September 11, 2018 my only complaint is: shouldn't the template be a layered PSD, instead of a single layer bmp? Quote
Wrench Posted September 12, 2018 Posted September 12, 2018 I had the same issue as well. Finally managed to finagle it to open perhaps, instead of using RAR, why not use 7z. Like everyone else does Quote
amariani Posted September 12, 2018 Posted September 12, 2018 I'm using 7z and this is what I get... Quote
Gatling20 Posted September 12, 2018 Posted September 12, 2018 I had the same problem, WinRAR would not open the RAR file, kept telling that the file was corrupted. Managed to get it open with 7Zip, though, and installed. I like the cockpit, it's been a while since we saw a new purpose-built WW2 cockpit. I am getting something strange in flight with this aircraft. It is hard to describe in words, but the center of the model seems to be some distance behind the tailfin, so in flight it rotates around a large circle, not around where the CoG of the actual aircraft is (that is, around about where the pilot is seated). Gatling20 Posted September 12, 2018 Posted September 12, 2018 "only the pilot is not my author and I do not know who created it". The pilot is by RussoUK. Quote
Wilches Posted September 12, 2018 Posted September 12, 2018 I like very very much, but some tunnings are badly needed. The hitboxes are porked. The cockpit is wonderfull. Thanks Torno!!!! Quote
amariani Posted September 12, 2018 Posted September 12, 2018 Turns out my version of 7z was outdated! Thanks for the new model Torno! Only needed a little tweak for rudder control. Quote
Wrench Posted September 12, 2018 Posted September 12, 2018 I've not experiened control issues flying on NORMAL. amariani, please post your rudder tweeks? Quote
amariani Posted September 13, 2018 Posted September 13, 2018 Ok, I replaced the rudder entries with the ones from the stock Spitfire Mk. IXc. In the data.ini go to [Rudder]... This mod solved the problem. 1 Quote
